It was our first time at Central Market and we chose it to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was everything everyone has said and more. The food was delicious, our service impeccable, and they gave us a wonderful table near the back where we felt like we had privacy and could talk without music blaring in our ears. I highly recommend Central Market for any occasion, even if there is none at all!

Haven't been in a couple years. Used to love it. Tonight I was completely unimpressed with the dish, a pasta with shrimp in arrabiata sauce. The sauce was virtually tasteless. I have made better at home. It was definitely not even a bit spicy besides flavorless. Since it's been a couple years since my last visit, I will give another try. But overall very disappointed.

The birthday dinner was wonderful. We got our special table in the corner window to celebrate my husbands birthday. With family members attending as well we ordered 4 starters and then we each had delicious entrees. As usual it was all exceptional. Tony then surprised my husband with special cookies and a candle! So sweet and a wonderful gesture. Our waitress was very attentive and had some good suggestions for our meals. Overall a great birthday dinner.

Always an exceptional dining experience with the food (and wine) being wonderful. We took a friend there last night for her first time--she was visiting from Southern California and will be in Petaluma regularly during the next year due to work--and she said that she will definitely be coming back. Central Market remains our go-to pace for special occasions and when friends visit from out of town. Highly recommend it.

The host and waiters were personable and attentive. The menu had many appealing items. My wife and I settled on the cabbage rolls and roasted vegetables for starters. For our main dish, she ordered the fillet of sole and I the pork chop. For dessert, we shared the strawberry/rhubarb pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. All dishes were attractively presented, exceptionally prepared, and tasty. I topped the meal off with a rich tasting cappuccino. Always enjoy dining at Central Market. I highly recommend it.
Felt like we got the ‘B' team on a Monday night. Salad was delicious. White bolognese was too dry. Pork was very good, though potato side was poor - soaked in vinegar. Service was friendly but had a Monday night “we don't want to be here vibe.” Had higher expectations given reviews and $100 cancellation hold.

I love Central Market for so many reasons, but I will say the food and wine selection will never disappoint. Over the years the food has always been delicious and I'm excited to try new menu items. For instance, I can't wait to try the pork chops the next time we go! Also, the wait staff is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I'd go here weekly if I could afford it!
