What a great experience! Quiet Wednesday night - a little rainy so having a remarkable meal in a cozy warm cafe/restaurant hit the spot. Welcoming staff, interesting menu and great wine list. I really enjoyed the shrimp stuffed calamari - very interesting original dish - well done!! The short ribs were perfect and the cod was well prepared and excellent. Wine choices were good and the wine by the glass if high quality. The service was very very good! Recommend.
Made a 5:45 reservation to have dinner before a show. It was peak dining time and the restaurant was very busy. We waited a bit to be seated and to put in our order, but we were able to sneak in a few appetizers from the happy hour menu. In a town that's full of great restaurants, Central Market is in a class by itself. The chef/owner sources ingredients locally (some of it from his own farm) and creates a memorable dining experience that justifies repeat visits. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the food and the wine. A great place for a special occasion or simply a weeknight dinner!
