Even after 20 years, this is the best spot to dine in Petaluma. Delicious, thoughtfully prepared food served in generous portions. Touches like freshly ground horseradish on top of beef short ribs transform a comfort food staple into a signature dish. To be this good for this many years is no small feat.
We had three apps, the focaccia, red green onions and I think it was a chickpea farinata. All were fantastic. The brazino for two was so good. One of the best cooked pieces of fish I've ever had. The pizza, as always, was excellent as is the atmosphere, service and wine. A great restaurant with a fantastic chef. A real gem in Petaluma.
What a great experience! Quiet Wednesday night - a little rainy so having a remarkable meal in a cozy warm cafe/restaurant hit the spot. Welcoming staff, interesting menu and great wine list. I really enjoyed the shrimp stuffed calamari - very interesting original dish - well done!! The short ribs were perfect and the cod was well prepared and excellent. Wine choices were good and the wine by the glass if high quality. The service was very very good! Recommend.
