Chan Chao Thai Restaurant

I LOVE Thai so much and frequently eat it. I was really hoping this place would knock my socks off...unfortunately the food was mediocre. The best part of my meal was their egg rolls for the appetizer. The entree left a lot to be desired. I might give it a second try one day though. Pros: the customer service was top notch and the price was very reasonable.

My friend and I recently discovered this restaurant. We’ve been looking for a good khao soi place & this hits the spot! The pad Thai is okay. But we will return for the khao soi! I also enjoy that parking is easily available here versus other restaurants in Petaluma.

Fresh, delicious, awesome food! Both times I’ve had them was delivery and arrived not only tasty but with a sweet hand written note and drawing that made my day!

The food was okay, but we’re not going back because the service was not good. We had to wait for a long time even just to place our order. I understand it was dinner time & they were getting busy but they had only two staff/waitresses doing everything except cooking & bussing. On busy hours like that they should have more than two since they have a lot of tables. We almost left before we could order as the wait was too long. Sorry but there are other Thai restaurants we ca go to with good food & much better service.

This is a great spot for Thai food in Petaluma! The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the service was excellent. We tried the chicken wings with tamarind sauce, the chicken with basil, and the pumpkin curry. Everything was delicious, and the spice level was just right when we asked for spicy. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good Thai food in the area.

Best vegetarian Pad see ew I’ve eaten in a long time !! Our whole group loved the vegetarian food we ordered.
It’s on the ground floor of a beautiful historic home/ building on a great corner lot with mature big trees.

The service was great too. A family owned business .

Authentic tasting flavors and ingredients. We were very impressed with the choice of dishes and quality.
Both the Tom Yam soup and basil fried rice were delicious.
To top it off, service was friendly as you’ll expect in a Thai restaurant.
