I will definitely come back. Good things come in small packages. Quality of food was excellent and Ben, my server is happy and enthusiastic about this company. I know why.

Every time I come in, there's always a line of people out the door when there is only one worker in the entire building. The employees are incredibly hardworking and treat everybody kindly, so it is no fault of their own that they are put in a situation meant for them to fail. My pastries and drink are always delivered with a smile regardless of the line, and they get it out as quick as possible. If my things don't come out so fast, it is only because there's only so much one worker can be expected to do during a rush.

Lovely small bakery. The breakfast burrito was really filling and tasty.
Croissant would have been better if it was warmed up. I had asked it to be warmed but they must have forgotten. Still, it had a good texture.

It's wonderful to have a Cousteau bakery in Petaluma. The fruit tart and fruit basket cake were so good. And they have the absolute best cinnamon walnut bread and biscotti. All their baked goods are yummy! I highly recommend them!

Perfect shop for guests of Hotel Petaluma. Hang out in their nice lobby with Costeaux food. I got a mocha and savory pastry for my breakfast. The pastry is small but very yummy; warmed up by the excellent staff.

They were out of a lot of things when I got there around 1. Had the chocolate decadence torte and it tasted like brownie batter mousse in the best possible way.
Staying in the Petaluma Hotel. We went for breakfast and got a morning bun, a croissant and two yoghurts with granola. I bet they'd be good fresh, but ours were at least a day old and dry. The granola on the yoghurt was soggy and was also at least a day old (or more?). The trouble is, with the coffees, it was a $40 breakfast. $6 for a day old pastry is too much...even for Petaluma. We won't be going back.

WOW, what a gem. Stopped in for coffee and breakfast. The espresso is so smooth and delicious. I also had the quiche and it was the best I have ever had.

Can I give more than 5 stars? Can I give 10?! The cheese danish was heaven! The breakfast croissant was fantastic. The latte was delicious. The staff was so friendly. We ate here three mornings in a row and I feel like we tried everything but the cakes. I'll be dreaming of that cheese danish for a while. :)

It is so WONDERFUL to have Costeaux right here in Petaluma! It's nice because now I don't have to make the long drive to Healdsburg. So far from the Petaluma location I have tried the truffle cake, ham & cheese sandwich, chocolate cake slices, Walnut bread, frosted cookies, chocolate chip cookies and regular bread. All the items have been absolutely delicious. This is actually one of my favorite all time bakeries.

As you walk in, Sierra has a big smile and warm welcome. The case is full of tempting pasteries, cakes, cookies, sandwiches, and more. Everything is even more delicious than it looks. It's hard not gobble it down, but make sure you take your time and savor it.
