I LOVE this place. Everything is executed well and topped off with excellent service.
I wanted to try something different so the wifey and I went across the river to Petaluma and found this gem of a restaurant. Upon entering, you are welcomed with a very tasteful environment with warm tones, rich woodgrains, strategically placed columns, arches and lighting. Upon quickly being seated you have traditional white linen and table setting.
If the place is busy, and it does get busy because it's a great spot, it can get loud due to all the hard surfaces.
Our server was very attentive and she quickly got us a water and our bourbon selection for the night. They have a very nice wine and drink list by the way...
We were very hungry so we got an order of bruschetta on top of the traditional focaccia and olive oil. The ripe tomatoes and semi-sweet basil with light bitterness of the olive oil on top of the texture of the bread was quite the treat. I would go back just for that and a glass of cold wine as a snack on a warm day (I just talked myself into that lol).
Moving onto the main event, I was stuck because there were several things that looked and sounded amazing. I ended up going with the Rigatoni Alla Carcerata and my wife had the Spaghetti Alle Vongole. Both were AMAZING! Mine had a tomato & Light cream sauce that was paired with the italian sausage topped over house made pasta that was just perfect.
I had to finish it off with an espresso.
Lastly, and this is a trait of a truly great spot, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, well educated on the menu, efficient with the drinks and had a great personality.
In closing, if you are in the area, give this place a shot. It's a great place for date night or t bring the family to celebrate (There were 3 birthdays that particular Friday night).

Food and service was really good. We ate outside which has a lovely view, but also has some “free range” people walking around talking and shouting to and about no one in particular. Not the restaurant’s fault, but I feel that it should be noted.

We were referred to Cafe Paradiso by friends in the area. This family run restaurant was packed by 5:30 on Saturday so reservations are a must. Our dinners were delicious and service was great. We'd go back next time we're in the area.

So we have walked by Cucina Paradiso many times in Petaluma & have finally made it in. We could not be happier that we did. We made it for lunch recently on another beautiful day. We came in to celebrate a birthday and they mentioned that it was the best gift. We had wine and a couple of cocktails. To eat we ordered chicken, fish & pasta to make sure we tasted all aspects of Italian cuisine. It was all delicious to say the least. My pasta dish was full of delicious flavor . If you want to enjoy authentic Italian dishes make sure you come by as this is a definite must visit when youre in Petaluma. Ciao e mangiare bene, che vediamo qui.

Impeccable food!! The best meal I think I’ve ever had. Will absolutely be going back every time I’m in Petaluma.
Cucina Paradiso is a true delight. Four of us went on a Saturday night prior to Mother’s Day. We had a reservation which helped as the place was bustling. We started with cocktails & wine and the brussel sprouts as an appetizer. We split a dinner salad and the portions looked full size. Our main dishes included the two specials of Branzino Meditteraneo (Sea Bass) and Striped Sea Bass baked with a Vera Cruz salsa. Both were delicious! One person got the pork and the other a pasta dish. Everyone was satisfied with their selections. Dessert was the tiramisu. It is made in-house. It was honestly just OK. I have tasted better as I make it a point to always order this specialty dessert at all Italian restaurants. Juan was our server and besides the food, he was the highlight. He was attentive and provided excellent service. He had a huge smile and a warm heart. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back!
The best Italian restaurant in Petaluma. The food is fresh, the pasta is true Italian. The
food never disappoints. Service is amazing. Full bar with an amazing selection of wines and spirits. It's a must try if you are in the Petaluma area.
Super crowded but superb food
Great views as well
Food and service was excellent. It was our first time. We had a dinner party of 14 people. The wait staff were very prompt. The only negative part of the meal was the bread. They brought out enough for five people. I had the ravioli stuffed with duck, it was fantastic. The sauce was delicious.
