Dempsey's Restaurant & Brewery

Loved it! I had the chicken with capers, it was amazing, and I'm not easily pleased :) A nice atmosphere, a lovely view, and friendly staff. I recommend!

Good food and friendly staff....With a nice little view of Petaluma River and across........but a little on the expensive side

Friendly outdoor space in a strip mall area but it overlooks the water so if you sit just right you can imagine you are in a more pristine setting than a parking lot. Beer is good and cold, I had the vegan burger which was dry, my mother who is a picky eater enjoyed her Salmon, and those who consume meat burgers seemed rather satisfied!

We had an awesome experience! The wait staff was knowledgeable and very friendly! The owner even gave us a tour of the brewery. If you want a REAL craft brewery try Dempsey's!!!

Haven’t been to this place in years and my sister was in town so we decided to go ahead and check it out

Nice view of water out back. Took some local clients out for lunch and enjoyed our burgers, and the thai chicken salad with very good local brews. Pleasant ambiance and decent service. Not fancy but good for what it is. I'd go back.

Good food and service and good beer

Looking for Dark Beer- wow this place has a couple of options-Baltic Porter and they sell it by the can! Ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad as well-- nice portion- not too sweet- nice peanuty dressing. All menus need a few more small options= Service was good- fresh hot coffee was good and strong as well! Visited 2x in a 3 day weekend so that should speak for it ! Best dark beer in the several we tasted -

Visited Dempsey’s recently. We sat outside on their large patio. Service was slow and they did not appear to be that busy? I remember the food being better on my last visit a year or so ago? New chef? I would probably go back but I was a bit disappointed.

Whenever I visit my family in Petaluma area from UK we have always visited this restaurant. Food quality and the selection of beers available were up to the usual high standard whilst offering good value for money. However the service on this occasion was painfully slow, albeit the waiter was apologetic to some degree. It’s not put me off returning but considering there is a service surcharge for tables of six or more, based on my latest visit there’s plenty of room for improvement.

Pretty average beer. IPA passable but not real hoppy. Food missed the mark. Flat bread was a dry and overly crisped pita. The Cubano came off dry, lacking flavor, too fatty pork belly, and not the right pickles. A little off.
