Came here for trivia a few months back as one of my first outings during simple COVID times. I'd seen Dempsey's listed as a brewery but was a little apprehensive about visiting, as it's a small, fairly unassuming spot. I ended up being pleasantly surprised! Their patio isn't very big, so I know things must be tough for them during all this, but staff was courteous and the food was good. We opted for the Buffalo wings for our appetizer and I was impressed at the size. These wings were HUGE. Lots of meat on the bone and a healthy serving of veggies alongside. I would definitely order them again. The trivia was fun, and I believe hosted by North Bay trivia. We didn't win, but the host was nice and we got 4th (I think) which wasn't bad for there being just two of us! I hope this ends up being something they continue next year. I can't remember what sandwich I got. It wasn't bad, but wasn't my favorite. I think I could have made a better decision there - or could have played around with ordering more apps. That seems appropriate for trivia anyway, am I right? I definitely won't say it was bad, but the fact that I took a pic and still can't remember means it was fairly unremarkable. The beer was surprisingly solid for an older spot. Craft beer is a tough world to keep up in and I was glad to see some competitive offerings. Hoping to see Dempsey's succeed post-COVID!

Riverfront Beer Gem!Walking around Petaluma riverfront, we decided to walk over the Footbridge and see what is on the other side. Well, the immediate answer was, "Dempsey's Restaurant & Brewery"! We decided to anchor there and have a couple of beers; great choice! Everyone in our group of four loved the beer. We also ordered some food; all good there too. However, at the end of the day it was the beer that won everyone over! Our visit was at an odd time, so we had to walk in, order and then sit outside for it to arrive. There was no indoor dining allowed yet. Not a problem!What we enjoyed during our stay on that warm day, was the fact that we were sitting in the shade, drinking tasty cold beer and having a beautiful view of Petaluma river and the Footbridge.

Loved it! I had the chicken with capers, it was amazing, and I'm not easily pleased :) A nice atmosphere, a lovely view, and friendly staff. I recommend!

Where to start?? For one the food is incredible! Just about everything on the menu is going to taste great. The best part of our entire experience though was the service. The servers were kind and welcoming. Throughout our entire meal they were attentive and making sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely fabulous, would 10/10 recommend. Also a great view of the river!

Friendly outdoor space in a strip mall area but it overlooks the water so if you sit just right you can imagine you are in a more pristine setting than a parking lot. Beer is good and cold, I had the vegan burger which was dry, my mother who is a picky eater enjoyed her Salmon, and those who consume meat burgers seemed rather satisfied!

Tasty burgers & sandwiches. I love the home made pickle slices - tastes like curry/cumin, excellent recipe. Their beer is on point, molicious is my go-to here. The salads are first rate, not just a pile of lettuce like at so many breweries. The wings are outstanding - tender, plump, delicious. I have tried the Korean wings so far, a recipe from one of the servers. Lovely outdoor seating overlooking the river, plenty of space between customers. Highly recommend.

This place is an absolute must! The owner Sue is a gem and just so personable, helpful, and sweet. The menu has wonderful options where you can't go wrong no matter what you choose. I highly recommend Sue's specialty Korean wings! It's her personal recipe and they're made from scratch and they're DELICIOUS! Absolutely to die for. The wings are 10/10. They're sweet, sour, and spicy. They also have quite the impressive beer selection among other alcohol treats. The service was impeccable and I've never had such quick service. The food was made incredibly fast. All around an amazing experience at Dempsey's and I just couldn't wait to brag about it! Please choose to eat here if you are in the area.

The food it pretty tasty. I really liked the cuban sandwich. The Chinese chicken salad looks great. Their mo'licious beer is great and I do not even really like IPA's. The Smoke on the lager is also a very interesting tasty beer good for someone adventurous.
