Comfort food meets California ?
Is just another way of saying we are going to have overpriced food on classical cheep dishes… and we’re still going to leave out the comfort and the soul of the foods origins. Nothing tasted like comfort at this place. Stop trying to elevate food that’s not meant
to be elevated!!!
Portion sizes do t match price. Felt hungry an hour later and stopped by In &Out just to top off the night.

We had three drinks for three guests, and then I was charged $8.00 each for two additional soda waters and strawberries. The manager told me that it was for 2 mocktails. When I asked the server for the drink without the vodka, he responded with we cannot do that as the strawberries are
Soaked in vodka. I said to them I only want a soda water and a couple of strawberries. He said ok. Not only did the manager not offer any relief on these two drink charges, I realized they are charging an additional charge for the living wage, that many restaurants have stopped doing. This was my first time going there and with many Resturants in Petaluma I will not be returning. The server seamed aloof and we had to flag him down for each request. Very disappointing. Check your receipt moving forward as I was too tired to argue tonight but many probably should in the future. $8.00 for 6 ounces of soda water and three strawberries seems a bit much. You be the judge if that is fair. I would have been fine with $4.00 each for soda water as that is the price on the menu for a coke. Try the other restaurants before you give this place your business.

Limited menu, but something for everyone. Absolutely delicious food and great cocktails. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Reservations recommended. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Petaluma.

I wish there was a 3.5 because this would get it. I think the food here is good, but I would rather spend my money somewhere with bigger portions. I love the drinks so much here and would come back just for those. I think all the food was pretty good, and would get the hush puppies again; but I just don’t know about the prices! It was $90 for 2 cocktails and 3 appetizers. But again, we enjoyed it and loved the drinks! Service was good.

Had the fried chicken. It was totally dry, way over cooked. The tables are so close together very uncomfortable

Fun lively spot with inspired dishes comfort meets Californian. Hush puppies, baby artichoke, and the shrimp and grits (particularly the sauces) were all outstanding. No drinks pre race but hope to be back. Oh, and the whole service team is second to none and having a great time too!!

Enjoyed a family meal here for an early Sunday dinner, called ahead for reservations.Overall a pleasant experience with good food and nice service, with Petaluma chic atmosphere. Pricing was on the higher side. The fried chicken dinner was a great value, a lot of food. The duck breast social was nicely cooked. The pork chop was moist and tender but lacked flavor. The short rib was amazingly tender and well seasoned. The pork belly biscuits were nice, and really fatty.I'd visit again for a special occasion.

Chicken and Waffles were amazing, loved the hushpuppies and donuts. We did not like the tiny baby biscuits with gravy, but they comped for us. Very good service ?

Make reservations, it gets busy. The grits were delicious and I had the pork shop. It wasn't as southern as I expected, but it was good. I really enjoyed my purple drink called purple pisco potion. It has a very original flavor that takes you for surprise, then you're hooked.
