Ethel's recently helped us cater some breakfast events we had hosted. Not only were the bagels GREAT, the owner was very lovely to deal with. I really enjoyed each and every moment working with Ethel's and i hope to work with them again in the future. I'll stop by and visit every time i visit Petaluma!! Thank you!!

Genuine and true to the craft. Ethel's reminds me of delis I'd seek out in LA. Fresh stuff, excellent bagels, and no nonsense. Stop by on the weekend for no wait for a cafe breakfast or a lunch sandwich. Great pastries, great bagels, great sandwiches, I have nothing negative to say.

The best pastrami in Sonoma county hands down! Properly brined and smoked. Great flavor but still juicy. Reminds me of Langers or Brent's down in LA. Definitely worth a try!

My husband and I were addicted to these bagels (specifically, parmesan and pepper, but all others were also great) and went every weekend to the Farmers marker in Larkspur to buy a dozen of them (we always shared with friends). When Ethel decided to open their own place, I was thrilled (because it would be an opportunity to buy their bagels even more often than just once a week!)! And what a disappointment it was after we buy bagels there:( They obviously changed the recipe, new bagels weren’t even half good compared to the ones before. Such a bummer. I’m glad that they still have fans of their products but they lost one of the most devoted ones. Please, return the old bagels’ recipe??

Bagels are so good! $33 for bakers dozen. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Open on Sundays too!
