It's as authentic as you can get!
This is a hidden gem with some of the best sushi rolls that we've found in the Bay Area. Great service and nice atmosphere as well. Thanks!

Great Japanese! Our server, Suki, had to take care of the entire restaurant. She worked at a fast trot! The 3 of us had chicken bento, 2 steak bentos, fried softshell crab and fried shrimp. The miso soup was like none we have never had. Please note the labels on the photos. Excellent! Very good Japanese. You must try it

Everything was delicious. I especially pay attention to the quality of fresh scallop, one of my favorites, and it was very good! The service and atmosphere were also really nice. It was quiet and nice inside. Best of all they also have fresh pickled wasabi you can order, nothing like it! Happy to come back to this lovely restaurant in the future.

Met two friends for dinner, one of the owners checked to see how they were doing: food was all expertly prepared and presented. We agreed they were doing great. Will definitely go back. Freshest Sushi in Bay Area.

Gohan is my favorite restaurant in Petaluma. The food is fresh and delicious, , the service impeccable, and the ambiance is delightful.
Great food, I gave up on Honduran cuisine so I could eat here more often
They have REAL pickled wasabi. It is amazing. I wish I didn't live so far away, I would eat here all the time.

Hands down, this place is my favorite sushi spot ever! ? Why, you ask? The freshness of the fish is something you've got to experience to believe. It's like they pluck it right out of the ocean and onto your plate. And don't even get me started on their fresh wasabi – it's a game-changer, elevating every bite with that perfect kick.Yes, it's a tad pricier than your average sushi joint, but trust me, it's worth every penny. The quality, the flavors, the whole experience – it's just really, really good. You can taste the care and craftsmanship in each roll and nigiri. If you're a sushi lover looking for that next-level taste experience, do yourself a favor and check this place out. The combination of fresh fish, real wasabi, and impeccable sushi craftsmanship makes it an unforgettable dining adventure. Worth it? Absolutely!

Miso soups wonderful. Grade of fish better than those average sushi roll places. The roll looked like a work of art, not like a fast food meal. The Toro was off the hook!
