Had lunch while waiting for Smog Service, just ordered a BLT, but modified for cheddar cheese, it was shredded , not a slice, ok but kept cheese kept falling out. My side salad was awesome. Fresh lettuce, chopped tomatoes, more shredded cheese, red onions, ranch dressing was served on side in a Solo cup with lid, salad so big I needed extra ranch. Great lunch while waiting for Smog Service!

This IHOP in Petaluma CA. It is nice And the food is good. The prices went up since we last went there but it's historic for me and my wife because we had our first date here back in April 2021

I came in this past Sunday and it was one the worst experience we have ever had. The waiter that helped us had a really bad attitude. Since we get there he requested a couple of waters and when he delivered us the waters my wife asked for straws and just trow them on the table. He refused to change a 1 single thing from the kids menu which in other places they change without a problem. After all this he didn’t bring the side of fries for my kid until we were almost done with food. He never get close to ask if we needed anything. This place should get rid of this kind of people. They should be more professional and try to be humble and respectful with the customers. At the end I told him that he should change his attitude, and instead of having it as a feed back he just yelled at me. Just disgusting

Wait staff - Perfect! Scrambled eggs, bacon & biscuit - All perfectly cooked/baked. Coffee-As good as they say! I truly enjoyed my breakfast! I'm not a picky eater, but the simplest foods can be cooked poorly...Not at Petaluma's IHOP.. I've eaten at IHOPs all over California since 1970 & the worst thing I've ever had (seldom) is burnt bacon.

Kid-friendliness: A few farm style family tables available. Great Pizza and plates that can be shared.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes on the ground level. All sidewalks have ADA upgraded curb access.

I enjoyed the atmosphere but my breakfast was not up to IHOP standards. I won't go into the service issues because I could've forgotten all that if my waffle was warm enough to melt the butter and my bacon was cooked ! Major disappointment ?

IN THESE REALLY WEIRD AND TRYING TIMES IS IHOP IS BY FAR THE BEST I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME IT'S NOT JUST GOOD IT'S REALLY REALLY GREAT AND THE PEOPLE THAT WORK HERE ARE JUST FANTASTIC PEOPLE AND GREATLY APPRECIATED... so with all that being said, if I could give 10 stars I would and then plus some more stars it's been a long time since I've had a good omelet and this omelette is excellent that I'm eating at this very moment! it's by far better than anything I've eaten at the IHOP in Vacaville so kudos to the Petaluma IHOP and their staff yummy yummy, keep up the good work... also the environment inside their restaurant is absolutely amazingly clean, it's upbeat it's got a great vibes and I'm not just saying that I'm sincerely impressed cuz it's hard to find a good IHOP these days and I think I found one that's better than good it's great! kudos to the chef and clueless to the whole entire staff for doing such a great job, And I mean that sincerely. One more thing before I forget to mention the customer service here is way over and beyond what I expected my waiter Ricardo was absolutely amazing with his customer service and spoke the best English and was very attentive to all my needs while I was ordering cuz I was not the easiest customer to deal with lol. I ordered the omelet which I said was the Denver omelette which they did not have on the menu but he made it perfect for me or had it made perfectly for me I should say The chef did awesome then I went and ordered their crepes their cinnamon bun crepes to be specific with no strawberries on top. and believe it or not those were even remarkably yummy and fresh and good. I would definitely recommend the Petaluma IHOP anytime to any family and friends of mine for sure or acquaintances. they're tip top, deserving of five stars in all categories Great job Petaluma IHOP stay true to yourselves and keep up the hard work.
