4-15-23 Came in at 8:10pm on a Sat. Menu monitors are on. Food cases are empty though. Gas stop cashier said they do their last batch at 4pm and only lasts 4hours (so stop serving at 8pm?), though I can see they haven't been selling chicken for quite a while. It was too clean (yeah a gas station that's too clean.). No hours posted. No lights dimmed. Looks open to me.... 1/5 #petaluma #gasstation #friedchicken

If you aren’t going to make or sell chicken take the signs down and remove from Google.

I have had this chicken at the location in Larkfield. Excellent!! I found this location in Valero on Washington St in Petaluma. I have gone there twice. Neither time was I able to get chicken. First time I went there I was told the one and only cook had called in sick so sorry no chicken today. The next time I stopped by There was no chicken to buy. The one and only cook was there but when the morning cashier left she was the only employee there. She said she had chicken when he was there but now she's alone and can't work both the register and cook chicken. This business, Valero, needs to decide which business they are in. Convenience/gas or chicken. Apparently unable to do both. Interesting, the location in Larkfield was in a gas station also and they juggled both quite well. The KKC location in Rohnert Park got terrible reviews on the quality of their food. I am afraid I can't give you a review of the chicken at Valero, as I've never had a chance to taste it. Recommendation: call them before you drive there to make sure the cook has shown up or they are adequately staffed to make chicken
