Lucchesi's Delicatessen

Ruben sandwich is one of my favorite things to order at any deli. I've ordered it a lot. This is the first time ordering it at this deli and it is the first time ever I've been served a Ruben with no pickle. For those who don't like pickles no big deal but I LOVE pickles and for me this was a big DILL.

Went there recently and it’s a shell of what it use to be 15 dollars for a bologna sandwich and 2.50 for a can soda might as well just shut the place down

Love that everything is so tasty and that they use sourdough rolls and baguettes instead of sliced sourdough bread. Pricey, but (imo) worth it. Double cheese adds $4 though. So glad they’re close by. Saves me from going to Castro Valley Lucas’ Deli.

A Petaluma local favorite, Lucchesi's has been around for years selling sandwiches, sides, chips, drinks, and bagel dogs. I'm one to try to support the independent eateries like this one rather than one of the big chains like Subway and Jersey Mike's. Good sandwiches overall, my $15 Roast Beef and cheese with peppers was hot, spicy, and tasty. It could've had a little bit more of that juicy, tender, succulent beef...but the soft sourdough baguette was fresh and warm. Seemed a pricy for what I got, but still satisfying. My local Petaluma friends love this place, I just like it. No inside seating, just a few tables outside. Folks were friendly enough.

9.39 for a half pint of egg salad that was pretty mediocre and could've use some seasoning , disappointing

We have been enjoying Lucchesi deli sandwiches for years. We frequently will make the drive from Santa Rosa to Petaluma just to get a Lucchesi’s sandwich. They are consistently good and delicious. Having tried sandwiches from different establishments all over Sonoma County, none come close the the consistently excellent sandwich you get at Lucchesi’s Deli. They also have wonderful, courteous staff. All around the best sandwich in Sonoma County.

They make a solid sandwich. It's a 4.5, but I'm in a good mood and will round up.

My first time trying this deli and it was not disappointing even though I was served the wrong sandwich. I called to inform them and they sincerely apologized and made it right by offering me another sandwich on my next visit. A nice mom and pop place with the old school mom and pop morals. Mistakes happen plus they were super busy as it was lunch time. Although I had my heart set on eating the sandwich I ordered, the wrong one was super good. I also ordered the pesto cheese tortellini and that was delicious. I will definitely be a regular repeat customer.

Lucchesi`s is a Petaluma staple! I have been going here since I was a teenager and it has tasted exactly the same this whole time. That is how you know a place is good, when it holds up for years! I always get a sandwich on the baguette. Do not miss out on that baguette. These are also the exact sandwiches you need on your way to the river or the coast!!
