I usually go to Mary’s Pizza in Rohnert Park and have great experiences, but I stopped at the Petaluma location and was disappointed. When I walked in, there was no host at the front, so I seated myself at a high-top in the bar area. I noticed three people in the kitchen talking and two in the to-go area talking, but no one greeted me.
The appetizers were decent, but the drinks were weak and I wasn’t checked on once for a refill before the pizza came. The pizza had a crispy crust, but it was overloaded with cheese and the pepperoni wasn’t crispy. When I mentioned it to the bartender, she didn’t acknowledge the concern and simply said she forgot to ring in my drinks earlier, so I got happy hour pricing.
Overall, the service felt inattentive and unprofessional. I hope this location can improve because the Rohnert Park one is much better.

We used to go to this location all the time but we have been really disappointed with our last few experiences. We placed an order for takeout to be picked up at a specific time. My husband went to pick up the order and was given only part of the order (bread sticks). After reminding them that there was also pizza to go with the order they had home sit for another 20 minutes only to give him the wrong size pizza cut up so strangely. We really enjoyed taking our family there but it seems that it is just isn't the same.

Great fried chicken sandwich. Who knew Mary's had a great chicken meal? Got to back for the pizza.
Enjoyed the pesto breadstick, the salad and the pastas! Had a good cocktail too! Nice, relaxing, casual atmosphere for family fun. Had the private room for our granddaughter's graduation!

Lets start off by saying when we walked in there it was not packed. We asked for a table for two and was seated at a messy table. I had to literally wipe off food from seat and table in front of our hostess, who did not even offer to help. We were seated in a well traffic area of the restaurant. We sat there for 20 mins without one single person offering ANYTHING. Four wait staff walked right past us and never took our drink order. We even tried to wave one of them over! Marys use to be a great place but I now see why they are slowly failing. Don't bother going, you'll get better service at habit burger than this place.

Love Mary's, but it can be a little hit or miss with the service. Sometimes everything is served timely and hot, and sometimes there's an apparent disconnect between the kitchen and the servers. I wish it was more consistent because it really is a great place with great food, and when it's on, it's really awesome!
