If I could give this place six stars I would. The service was fast, thoughtful, warm, and the food was excellent as well! We just left this place with huge smiles on our face and will come back again soon.

The bean dip, salsa & chips will get you in the door but the drinks and bartenders will keep you from leaving. Seriously, Ismael and Chuy are the best! I love the chorizo but my husband is a huge fan of the al pastor. The Alambre is the absolute best (share it - it's huge!)

A long-time Mexican restaurant staple in Petaluma. Our large party of 16 for lunch received excellent attention and service with just the right amount of check-ins to keep water glasses and chips full. All expressed satisfaction with their meal choices.

I had a dear friend visiting from Canada recently. She was staying in Petaluma and was dying for some good Mexican food, which is hard to come by where she's from. I've heard lots of good things about Mi Pueblo so we decided to try it. It was noon on Sunday and the place was packed! Thankfully we were able to be seated right away. The decor in the restaurant is really fun, from the painted walls to the carved furniture. They brought us some fresh chips, salsa, and refried beans (to dip, I love it when places do that). The salsa was delicious and not too spicy. I wasn't super hungry so I chose their appetizer of chimichanguitas with shredded chicken and my friend went with a shrimp burrito. The food arrived quickly and was fresh and flavorful. The chicken in my dish was seasoned very well. Even though it was considered an appetizer, I had plenty of leftovers. My friend enjoyed her burrito very much. The service was very friendly and made sure to always keep our water glasses full and came to check on us a handful of times. I was impressed with everything and would definitely return.

This place is like El Coyote in L.A. minus the Manson family history. No one should come here except for chips, bean dip, and booze. The food quality varies between disgusting and edible. And it's not Mexican food. I will say the guacamole is adequate. They don't put mayonnaise in it, at least, but the food is so whitebread that I suspected they might. Watch out, there are two of these in Petaluma, both with lousy food. But if I still drank, it would be a fun place to drink.

This place is amazing. Consistently great service, even though me and a group of friends (at times as many as 15-20 of us) show up with as little as 45 minutes left until they close. Also love that they give you free frijoles, which are delicious btw.

came here a few years back and had the worst service thought I'd give it another shot and they did fail to disappoint I ordered two tacos and my entire table got their food well over 10 minutes before they even bothered to say they got caught up in the kitchen while I'm continuing to wait for my food I see the servers come out with a big hot molcajete they sat it at an empty table right next to mine I was confused because one there was only two other guest in the entire restaurant to my surprise it was for them the server's they sat and ate while I continued to wait for my food what a joke we also had to wait for them to finish just to get the check which was another 20 minutes food is not worth the money or visit you are better off at a Taco Bell wish I could get a refund because this was trash

I usually just get the Carne asada super burrito to go and its always quick. Big burritos too. Maybe could use more meat and less filler. But pretty good still. Nice salsa bar, large dining room and clean restrooms.

Really really GOOD!! The sangria was amazing, the food seriously put us in a food coma because we kept wanting “one more bite” it was that good!We sat at the bar and saw the most beautiful dishes come out from the kitchen….we come up here a few times a year and it’s our new regular stop! It’s super cute inside and the vibe and bar are perfect!! Thank you!!

Our new favorite restaurant when we are in town. We have travelled all over the word and never before have we had such a welcoming experience. The food was amazing and portions were large. The staff made us feel like family. If I could come here for the first time again ......
