First time visiting Petaluma, and I can definitely say I will come back just for this place.
The environment was very clean and welcoming. Our server was kind and attentive, which made our experience even better. ¡Gracias por todo, hermosa!
The food is top-notch! We tried three different rolls, one of which was recommended by our server, and finished off with a delicious fried Oreo dessert.

Major issues with the rice to fish ratio of the Nigiri - I’m talking paper thin fish on a mound of rice. Upon complaining about this (and not wanting to eat all that rice) we were literally told by the manager that it is because we ordered all you can eat and they prepare it differently. Listen, I know it’s a business and maybe you adjust the ratio a little because you’re trying to make money but either be subtle about it or state it on the menu. It was shocking for the manager to tell us they are purposely scamming their customers.

Great sushi but less than great service - sad that every time I eat here, despite it not being busy, it takes an unreasonable amount of time for staff to clear a table. I watch multiple servers standing around the waiter station chatting amongst each other until eventually someone decides to prepare a table. The food is great and the drinks are, too! Just wish the people working there had a bit more care for their customers. Not a good look

Delicious. The ayce rolls were not over stuffed with rice or other cheap fillings. Lunch price is $27 till 3pm, after it's the dinner price of $37. Dinner gets you a larger selection. The ceviche roll is stellar.
Either is absolutely worth it.

We came in with a whey-allergic child. The chef, Roberto, quickly reorganized his whole production, confirming ingredients that were safe and those to stay away from, and produced all our meals with his usual flair, even having to wipe down the cooking surface in between items to ensure no cross-contamination. He is a star and we appreciated his attention to his customers’ needs even while doing his cooking performance. Bravo, Roberto!

We went to Russian River and decided to stop there on the way down back home. It took us 45 minutes to get our sushi. Salad and miso soup was provided faster. They were busy, but not too crazy and it seemed like they have a good amount of sushi men preparing the rolls. The sushi is good, not exceptional, the normal quality for a AYCE sushi. The Vegas is delicious. We had one person on our party of four that did not want any spicy sauce. When they brought it to the table, one of her orders had spicy sauce in it. They did come back with the correct order. Service was not great… it was our first time there. We got the normal menu and 1 AYCE menu. It would have been nice if the server could have explained the menu (size of the rolls, etc). They also only give you 1 menu which makes it complicated for everyone in your party to go over the options. We asked for a second one and the serve did get it. There’s a good variety of rolls, the spicy rolls are very very spicy (even the mild ones). Nobody came to check on us, we needed more napkins and did not get it… just not great. Won’t probably be back there. Bathroom was clean and there’s parking.

They don't add so much rice, and they cut the rolls nice and thin at the end. Plus, you get salad and miso soup with it.
