Petaluma Creamery Ice Cream & Cheese Shop

Picked up some amazing half goat cheese and ice cream. Both were superb, and the whole place just has a really good vibe!

If you want tasty, local ice cream and cheese, look no farther!

Really great quality ice cream reasonable prices. We would have bought cheese but alas too far away from home, next time.

Not what we expected but the cheese was great! Asiago was delicious. Staff was pretty subdued and not overly informative or inviting.

We stopped in to grab some lunch and cheese curds. The cheese selection is great! And loved the five options to sample.
The sandwich was huge! And lots of meat and cheese. Really tasty! The girl working could not be less interested in being there. But she did make great sandwiches.

I'm rooting for this place! They have some new leadership behind the counter and she seems eager to reinvent the experience once she gets her ideas rolled out, which is an exciting prospect. The service we've received, dropping in on a semi-weekly basis for some ice cream, has been great. Outdoor seating is sunny in the afternoons, and there is a small greenbelt with large leafy trees right across the street. It's a pleasant and mellow place with a seasoned, down to earth charm (the business is more than 100 years old). We plan to be regulars this summer.

McKayla was so nice and offered some suggestions on what cheeses we would like (the spicy jack on sourdough was a great combination for grilled cheese). We were able to get a tour and Kevin was so knowledgeable! You can taste the difference in quality and approach at this local creamery.

This place has gone downhill quite a bit. They are short on food. Didn’t have lettuce or the Tri-tip and the bread was old

Don’t even try going here. Came all the way from San Jose just to find out that they were closed on a Saturday at 2:30? Doors were locked and the employee was just looking from the inside, not even acknowledging us. Left and headed down to Angela’s WHICH WAS OPEN and very kind to us. Y’all lost a customer and I hope you lose more 🤞
