I am an 83-year-old Vietnam veteran. Pete's Henny Penny has a few great food items once you get them. Getting your food is a whole other story. I've been going there for sometime to the point that I know one of the waitresses "Racquel". When I arrived at 11 AM last Sunday Racquel and I greeted each other. I said there be two of us and they put me on a waiting list. My son was late as usual but I wasn't seated until 11:22 AM in a booth. Racquel seated me knowing that my son had not yet arrived. At 11:27 AM, five minutes after she seated me, she came and said that she could not allow me to continue to sit in the booth because my son had not yet arrived. No server had asked for an order or given me water when she asked me to leave the booth. I was offended, probably had a right to stay in the booth, but decided I would leave Henny Penny because I was insulted. As I walked out the door my son greeted me at about 11:29 AM. As much as I like the food, this treatment may preclude my ever returning. Remember, I waited for a booth for 22 minutes and Racquel seated me knowing my son was about to arrive. She was impatient and was perfectly willing to tell an 83-year-old veteran regular customer to leave the booth.

We found this gem on our travels. The food is amazing and came out quick and hot. The service was excellent. The menu was very extensive. The ambiance is a cool vibe and very relaxed. Lots of regulars which we love! Pete's Henny Penny is an excellent choice for breakfast!

Decided to go out for breakfast today and Henny Penny is a go to. Ordered country sausage and eggs with biscuit and gravy. The sausage was inedible. Certainly wasn't country..... kinda tasted like road kill sausage. I love a good country sausage but this stuff was a disaster. Unfortunately it was used in the gravy as well. Long story short order bacon as this sausage is not good. Hopefully they figure it out and get normal breakfast sausage. Will have to pass going back until it improves. Service was ok. Disappointed overall

The restaurant has a very friendly environment and the waiters are nice. Not to mention the food is very fresh. The only thing I would complain about it the fact that they are very busy and often forget to check tables, or even forget to bring your food. This has happen to me a few times, and while it’s a little disappointing the overall experience is positive.
