Sad. Came for lunch hoping for a nice pho. Chicken tasted old. Broth tasted like it was out of the box. It’s not the same place and not in a good way, tat is was when the original owner was here.

I ordered a pork bahn mi, bread was stale, it was half empty and had one tiny piece of jalapeño, meat was nicely seasoned and the dude taking my order was rude

This place was bought from the original owners a few months ago. I wanted to see how the food compares so we ordered takeout last night. The broth in the brisket pho was quite good, although the slices of meat were 50% fat, which was gross and felt like low quality meat. The vegan pho was just okay. We used to love this place so much, and the ambiance is great and easy for kids. But I’m not sure we’ll be back…

The Prawn with added vegetables was great here, however the chicken with green beans made me sick! 45 minutes after eating we were at the Cinema across the street, I began to feel sick. Later that night I threw up! The chicken tasted like it was cooked in old oil. Not good!! For 24 hours I felt awful!

I'm obsessed with pho. The atmosphere of this place passed the vibe check. The pho itself, however, did not. The broth did not have the deep, rich, umami taste that I crave in a good bowl of pho...it was more catered to the "western" palate. Crestfallen, I retreated back to my hotel room, wondering whether I could find the perfect bowl of pho on this short trip back to the Golden State.

BEST Bun I've had in the Bay Area. I eat Vietnamese food all the time, and spent 4 months in Vietnam. This place is LEGIT. GOOD quality, FRESH ingredients. There is so much mediocre Vietnamese food in the Bay Area, but this place NAILS it. REALLY good food, very impressed!!!

Everything we got was great, and the owners were very accommodating. Our party of 6 arrived a half hour before closing, and they were happy to seat us. Food came out very fast. Chicken egg rolls; salt and pepper wings; bun bo hue; pho with flank steak, tripe, and tendon; pho with grilled pork; banh mi stew. They were very friendly and happy to make substitutions for us.My family is Asian and mom/sis are particularly picky about pho, but everyone was happy. Would definitely come again

Under new ownership since our last visit. But the pho was still excellent and customer experience was top notch. They spruced up the interior and it's really nice--fun and clean.

Parking: Parking can be intimidating but we always find something within walking distance, sometimes across the street by the park. It's worth finding parking to eat here!
