I deliver to Pho Sonoma , and I finally got the opportunity to try out their food, and I’m so glad that I did. I got the chicken ban me sandwich, and it was top tier. All fresh ingredients, with a lil kick of spice. Definitely worth trying, and definitely recommend.

We love this place. Its one of the few places to get Vietnamese food in Petaluma but it's the best Banh Mi. If you visit them at night they have some cool art work in the restaurant that glows.

I really wanted to like this place. After ordering chicken egg roll vermicelli bowls three times, on the fourth time one of the staff said they were pork eggrolls they don’t actually make chicken eggrolls, even though the menu says chicken. This was the second time the wrong order had been brought to my table, I was also in a hurry, and they proceeded to serve three other tables full of families instead of actually correcting the error on my order And making a takeout order for me. It took 40 minutes to get a different order for takeout, which should’ve been comped as far as I’m concerned after The pork issue.

If you don’t eat pork, beware! The menu says chicken, but it is not.

I love the food here! My favorite dish is the combination fried rice and the one they make here tastes really authentic. I’m Chinese and I’ve had many different fried rice before. Their fried rice here is really delicious and tasty!

After wrapping up our night at the cinema, my friend and I found ourselves hungry, and happened upon Pho Sonoma. Because she has a sensitive stomach, we always like to look at the menu before committing somewhere. Seeing an abundance of options, we walked in and asked if it was possible to try a sample of their broth. This is where we were met with just the beginning of our unbelievably kind, DELICIOUS, and unforgettable experience. Chef Jenny herself came out to greet us, along with her husband and co-owner, Huey. They not only explained to us what goes into the broth, but also delivered a VERY generous sample of the two kinds they offer. Throughout our time there we enjoyed several options from their menu, and each item was 11/10. Many thanks as well to our waiter, Daniel, who was an absolute gem. This restaurant checks all of the boxes and then some!
Atmosphere fun fact:
The artwork they have featured on their wall was painted by one of their favorite artists in Vietnam. The artist painted the piece as requested, rolled it up, and shipped it over! It’s a remarkable sight on its own, but hearing the history behind it was the cherry on top of our evening. This restaurant clearly values and understands the connection to the multi-sensory dining experience we all yearn for. It was the best night to kick off the fall season, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

I have been eating at Pho Sonoma since it opened. Huey and his staff make sure every customer is satisfied. Pho Sonoma is the most affordable restaurant I have found in Petaluma. The food is excellent!
My favorites are the shrimp 🦐 spring rolls and the seafood Pho.

Stopped in tonight for dinner and it was a great decision. Everything we ordered was super flavorful and absolutely delicious. This is a wonderful spot in the Theater District - grab dinner and see a movie after. They now have karaoke on Tuesday and Friday nights - fun spot for an evening.
