This place is absolutely terrible. The portion sizes were tiny, skimpy and unsatisfying. I ordered a burrito and was 1 inch thick. Literally. See pics. Also my wife's enchilada taste like someone spilled perfume on the tortillas. Not sure why this restaurant would be getting such good reviews. Petalumas restaurant scene does suck a little though.

Most dishes are from the region Jalisco, Mexico. I'm not familiar with that region but the flavors were more subtle and complex than the typical Mexican tacos I've had.
The chicken flautas is excellent. I liked the shrimp taco and al pastor. The pescado was my least favorite - it lacked texture.

Best Mexican food I have had in CA hands down. The mole, salsa, guacamole and homemade tortillas are divine. I cannot recommend this place enough. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner! The flavors of everything are well balanced and will definitely be back!

This is a must visit Mexican place if you are in the area. The staff is super friendly and is very accommodating to vegetarians. We got Guac and chips, vegetarian enchiladas and potato flautas, all of which were delightfully tasty. I loved their mole sauce and even got some for take home. The complementary watermelon was also a nice touch.

I was visiting Petaluma recently and ended up having two meals at Quiote in two days-it's that good. I got a quesadilla with the enchilada veggies inside and it absolutely blew me away. I've never had cashews or raisins in a quesadilla before and was skeptical but it was so so good. They know how to cook vegetarian food!!! I also got a side of pinto beans that were incredible. I even ate the broth! On my next visit, I had the potato flautas and those were very good as well. The sauce was a little spicy for me but tasted amazing. I couldn't stop talking about this restaurant and it'll be a must every time I return to the north Bay. I don't think I've ever had better Mexican food and that's saying a lot! The rest of my family loved their food as well. Highly highly recommend checking it out!

I’d recommend coming in before the lunch rush; we found a table easily, but there was a wait about 20 mins after.
We got the fish, gringa and mushroom tacos - all were great. We also got the guacamole, which hit the spot. Overall a 10/10 place.
