The best Italian beef sando I've had on the west coast, alongside Michael's in my hometown. It's a luxury to be able to get the real thing out here. Go Cubbies

The brisket was cooked to perfection, juicy, tender, and the sauce has a unique depth of flavor. The ribs were very nicely cooked as well. The Italian sandwich was good, but the brisket was the standout for me

We had been dying to come here and the overwhelmingly amount of positive reviews nearly guaranteed a delicious dog, but we were so underwhelmed. Got the Junk Yard Dog, some garlic fries, and the Mac balls. The dog lacked flavor despite being covered in all the fixings and not one strand of cheese melted, like it was dairy free or something… The kraut was bland, the bun wasn’t toasted.. the garlic fries were good and the Mac balls were what you’d expect.

We’re going to try again and go with a sandwich next time.

Wow, this place is a funky little gem! I picked it at first because I had a trailer and they had enough room that I could easily park, and man I'm glad I did!
Walk through the front door and it's like a time warp, this place has tons of character! I had the Italian beef sandwich, which was on point and the fries were perfectly golden and crisp. It was busy and staff were bustling, but they still made a point to be friendly and welcoming. Despite being busy the service wasn't slow at all, seems like they have their process figured out. I will definitely make a point to go back when I'm in the area again.

Real Italian beef from Chicago.

There is nothing negative I can say about this place... The employees are great, the atmosphere is extremely chill and the hot dogs are second to none. My son and I go almost every week.

My son and I were in the area looking for some BBQ. We were a bit late as they sell out early apparently. Though there was still a little brisket left! So I had them throw it on their Bleu cheese pesto fries. BEST. DECISION. EVER. My son had a chili dog and was very pleased. Picture says it all!

All-in-all a very nice experience. As a 55 year transplant from Chicago I would say it’s pretty good (only had beef so far). It’s not on par with Al’s, Mr. Beef, Portillo’s, etc., but it’s a decent beef. Also, I have to say, the fries are pretty darn good…next time we’ll see if the dog is close to Superdawg’s on Milwaukee and Devon outside of Chicago. I’m guessing not since they use Vienna and not Hebrew International hot dogs—but I’ll try it out and report back.

Parking: It’s located on stock-yard property, so it’s a bit of a rocky parking lot without any lines
