This place is legit as it comes. Born and raised in Chicago. It's like I walked back into the 80s. Irving's, Portillo's, and now Roy's in Petaluma!
The Vienna beef jumbo dog was 100% on point, including with authentic sport peppers. For those of you that know what a Chicago dog is supposed to taste like, you'll be transported back to the Windy City. Can't wait to try their Italian beef next time. Nice folks and a cute vibe too.

Can't believe this is my first time eating here. The brisket sandwich was stacked with meat and the flavor was delicious. The fried mac & cheese balls were spectacular!

Good hot dogs, but go there for the Italian Beef sandwich. Great flavor. I appreciate the fact that the owner loves the blues đ¶

We stumbled across this place driving down the road. So happy we stopped. Great food and the owner is a really fun guy to meet. We had the Chicago Dog and the Chicago Beef & Sausage Sandwich both were amazing! Very knowledgeable chef, I love to share my homemade Cowboy Candy hot peppers with people that appreciate sweet, and spicy hot. Wish we lived closer.

Everybody has hot dogs, but Roy's has the kind of hot dog you would travel to the state fair to get.

A little further off the highway than those boring fast food places, but well worth it. Located at the Petaluma Livestock and Auction yard. Had a great Chicago dog and fries while listening to blues. Wonderful experience, even tho it was âjust a hot dogâ.
The service was smooth and efficient. The food made it even better.

The best Italian beef sando I've had on the west coast, alongside Michael's in my hometown. It's a luxury to be able to get the real thing out here. Go Cubbies

The brisket was cooked to perfection, juicy, tender, and the sauce has a unique depth of flavor. The ribs were very nicely cooked as well. The Italian sandwich was good, but the brisket was the standout for me

We had been dying to come here and the overwhelmingly amount of positive reviews nearly guaranteed a delicious dog, but we were so underwhelmed. Got the Junk Yard Dog, some garlic fries, and the Mac balls. The dog lacked flavor despite being covered in all the fixings and not one strand of cheese melted, like it was dairy free or something⊠The kraut was bland, the bun wasnât toasted.. the garlic fries were good and the Mac balls were what youâd expect.
Weâre going to try again and go with a sandwich next time.
