The best and real sushi restaurant in at least 20 miles radius excluding San Francisco.
All sashimi was excellent cuts and high quality.
I am a sake expert but the selection of different sake is extensive. Also, many of the sake selection is directly from Japan!
I need to visit Sake 107 more often to expand my Sake palette!

Sooooo good! The sushi/sashimi/nigiri is fantastic and so fresh. Tonight we had Buta No Kusi Yaki, Kushi Katsu, Sake 107 roll, asparagus salmon roll, hamachi toro nigiri, tako sashimi, Saba sashimi, aburi hotate nigiri and Kani. For dessert (it was my son's bday) we had both cheesecake and panna cotta. They were so sweet and have us a tiramisu as an extra. They were all beyond delicious! The staff are excellent and thoughtful. We did have to wait a little as they were busy, but we didn't mind as the quality was outstanding and the staff attentive and sweet. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Truly wonderful!

Not terrible, but easily the most overrated sushi place in Petaluma. Absolutely unjustified for the price point.
The service is the one glowing point I can give here. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The chefs are also friendly.
Unfortunately, the sushi is both not as good as O Sushi on N McDowell and also significantly more expensive at over $30 a person. If I’m going for inauthentic American-style sushi, there are better options especially at the price point; if I want authentic sushi, this wouldn’t be the place to go.
Additionally, the building is set up such that every conversation echoes across the entire room. The room was deafeningly loud at times to the degree that I couldn’t hear my family talk. This makes it extremely uncomfortable to hold any conversation, as you’re essentially competing with every other customer to even be heard by the person sitting across from you.
Not terrible, but not a great place for a sit-down meal and also not as good as other options that are cheaper.

Best Japanese in Sonoma County - extremely delicious and high quality dine-in and takeout. We’ve been visiting Sake 107 for the last 5 years and the service and quality here are both unmatched in the area! Highlights are the Sashimi sampler, Melt in Your Mouth roll, and the eggplant. Highly recommend this spot, it never disappoints.

I love the experience and always leave here happy.
Delicious food, wonderful and kind service and beautiful dining experience. Highly recommend the Chef's choice. The quality is exceptional.
Note Google is incorrect: Sake 107 DOES TAKE RESERVATIONS, only by phone. Have been going to Sake 107 since it first opened, and consider it one of the best sushi restaurants in the entire SFBA. Petaluma is fortunate to have such an outstanding restaurant with owner/chef Ando's talent!
Way over-priced! We won't be back. The katsu skewers were very poor (seemed to have been pre-made elsewhere). $25 for a roll? $25 for chicken teriyaki!! HA!!
My fav Sonoma county sushi 🍣 for 5 years straight. My go to rolls are the salmon skin hand roll and the sake 107 special roll. Amazing service and relaxing upscale atmosphere with wide variety of food.

I can't deny the fish was of excellent quality and they have probably the most diverse selection in Sonoma County, but that is about the only positive. For just over $100 we got: 6 okay sized pieces of sashimi ($16HH), a salmon hand roll with zero flavor($7HH), the deep fried hamachi roll with zero flavor ($22), some of the most mid teriyaki chicken I have ever tasted($25), and a large hot sake($14).
I could almost give the cost a pass bc of being in downtown Petaluma, but the service was ABYSMAL. We walk in and get seated at about 5:13 and at this time we are the only ones in. It takes about 10 minutes for the waiter to come around and ask if we want anything else. At that point we go ahead and place our entire order to get it done. No one checks on us during our meal, even when dropping off food. We wait for about another 10 minutes until someone notices we are done. They bring the dessert menu. Wait again. Order the basque cheesecake. I LOVE basque cheesecake and you don't see it often. Wait. Again. Waiter drops the bill off, apologizes for the wait, makes no mention of the cheesecake, it's not on the bill.
We debate for a second to ask about the cheesecake, but are on a bit of a clock and at this point we have been there for about an hour and 20 minutes, of which about only 30, tops, was spent with our food and drink. I pay, because I was embarrassed as this restaurant was my choice and I didn't want to make my friend shell out half the bill for mediocrity, with a 10% tip and no shame, and leave.
Will not be back. Recommend you don't go either. Paradise doesn't have the variety, and the quality is just a point lower, but it's ayce for $37pp, would have walked out with the same bill and way more satisfied than here. Otherwise literal any other sushi place will be just as good and a little cheaper.
Seems like the kind of place people rave about because it's expensive, not because it's worth it.
Had an amazing dinner, the Sushi’s were excellent, melting and really enjoyed the flavors and surprisingly very fulfilling.
My fav was - Melts in your mouth, must try i would say and i wish to try Uni for the next time.
I have eaten here with my family since they opened in 2017, and it immediately became my favorite restaurant since the first time I tried their food as a kid. The owner and all of the staff over the years have always been incredibly friendly and just absolutely great and we developed a great relationship with everyone who works here. I've been around the world and tried sushi at some of the highest rated and nicest restaurants, yet Sake107 is always better. I've probably eaten here 1-2 times every week since I was 11 and I can honestly say this is one of the best restaurants out there. If you are looking for sushi anywhere in Sonoma County or even the entire Bay Area, Sake is a must try.
This is a fine place for sushi, but it's not great. The scallop, uni, and other nigiri was good quality, but the rolls were pretty bland. Nothing really popped and I'd honestly forgotten I even ate there until prompted by Google for the review.
It's good, but temper your expectations if you're expecting a real experience.
Really top notch sushi, wonderful service and staff. We are thrilled to have found this place and will be back! Can’t wait to try some of the interesting dessert choices.
