Great happy hour! Nice food bites and affordable prices. Always friendly service. Critique is for the odd layout for host stand. When busy, not an easy place to stand and wait for a table. Sort of first come first serve when it comes to bar area, which led to others hovering over tables and jumping ahead to snag a table when others were waiting patiently for their turn. Besides that and it being a bit noisy, still is one of our favorite spots to visit whenever we're in Petaluma.

Great date night spot! Happy hour has a good selection for drinks and snacks. Dinner is always consistently great and service is excellent. Dave was very attentive and gave great recommendations. Will be back

All and all it was ok. All three different cuts of meat were very flavorless. The big plus was that the cocktails were loaded. Our service was good. I was not impressed with the main course our dessert was

Their Happy Hour is one of the best in Petaluma that I have been to! It's a great spot for a quick bite, and they have delicious specialty cocktails as well as traditional ones. The Bon Vivant is an honorable mention, although I did not get it this time. Our server this time was super kind and was cracking jokes, as well as super accommodating. This inside is adorable, I love the rustic decor. This time I started with a margarita, a favorite of mine! I love that they only salt half the rim, so you don't have to have salt on every sip. It's not to sweet, which is perfect. I ordered the Prime Rib Dip, with shaved prime rib, jack cheese, caramelized onions, horseradish aioli, Della bread, and essential jus. It's a small happy hour portion, and it's the perfect size! I will definitely be returning!

A wonderful evening before even arriving. We called because running behind schedule and the host accommodated without any issues. Promptly seated at arrival at a great table. The cocktails, food and attention to details were very good. The experience was pushed over the top by our server, Dave, who was not only attentive and friendly but the entree suggestion was spot on with the hanger steak. Dave made our dining experience top notch!

I used to love this place. Went there a lot. The food was always delicious, and the last time I ate there, it still was. I have no problem with the food or most of the staff. Sure, it's busy and you might have to wait a bit, but I still think it's a great restaurant. My 1 star is in regard to the bartender. He apparently thought I didn't leave enough of a tip (I did - 20%) so he took it upon himself to charge my card an extra, unapproved, un-signed-for $5 over and above the total that was on the check. Just took $5 out of my bank account, which I didn't notice until later when my bank statement came. Outright theft. The management made it right, but - they should fire him. If you eat at the bar - pay with cash.

Extremely noisy. Impossible to have a pleasant meal with conversation. Glad I tried happy hour instead of attempting expense of full dinner. Compliment is for au jus not being salty. Not bad, but many other good options to get more for my hard earned money.

The best happy hour! Seared wedge salad was amazing and the steak skewers are phenomenal! Get it with a spicy margarita and live your best life!

Everyone is so nice. The food and drink options are great, there's a little something for everybody. I definitely want to go back because there were some other things I wanted to try, but we couldn't get to all of it. My favorites were the Asian prawns, but the soba noodles were a little too salty for me. The steak skewers were also really tender and cooked rare. If you need it cooked more than that, let them know because they won't ask you how you'd like it cooked.

We went for dinner, reserved for 5:15. We stood in the entryway for a few minutes and nobody acknowledged us until the hostess came over and sat us. Our server was great. The problem (which isnt a problem just not what we expected)...It was loud. Like we had to really raise our voices to talk to people at our own table. Hearing the taco of the day we had to ask our waiter to repeat himself a couple times.Again, this isn't a bad thing, just our experience and something to be aware of. We will come back, just not with 3 over 50's where that just wasn't their vibe.We ordered calamari and mac-n-cheese. The calamari was very good, the mac was good, but they advertised a breadcrumb crust and it really didnt have much. Still good, but I like a crust and didnt really get what I expected.I got the prime rib. It was great! The jus was better but didnt get a lot of it. Didnt ask for more but I expect that they would have gave me more if asked. The loaded baked potatoes...or mashed potato...I am not sure what it was. It was in a very small bowl, like 3/4 of a cup, not a whole potate, but it wasnt mashed potatoe? Idk, it was a bit weird, Id probably ask to sub in fries. It was just okay and not as hot as I would have liked. Girlfriend got the yum-yum prawns and she really liked it. Two other people got a filet and a ribeye. The sides for the filet he sent back and said they were not ever warm. They apologized a lot, and returned promptly with I think a whole new plate and he said it was great. I didnt ask the others about their food (too loud). Our server was great though, knowledgeable and kind. I asked for a little dish of kimchi because my gf wanted to taste it straight (her prawns came with kimchi/bacon fried rice but didnt really taste much kimchi). He said of course, and brought some.We will be coming back, but with a different crowed.

Food was delicious, our waiter, David, was excellent! Only negative is the extreme noise from the daily happy hour at the bar. Big difference when sitting in bar area or restaurant area. Was hoping to enjoy a conversation with my spouse. Wish something could be done about the noise.....perhaps a clear barrier that separates bar and restaurant??

Great food and ambiance. The baked oysters were phenomenal and surf and turf was cooked to perfection.

We got several "bites" which were all excellent. Main course was Akaushi Hanger Steak......which was at best "average" for flavor and quite tough. Not impressed. especially at $42 Service was excellent!
