One of my fave places to grab a morning treat and and good coffee drink. Much more on the menu. The pizza is pretty darn good as well. Outside seating. Come enjoy relax.

I love the Gluten Free Coffee Cake. Unfortunately Gluten & Soy is an allergy for me so I have very limited options. They mostly sell out of what I can eat very early since I am also allergic to soy and don’t want a cookie there isn’t any other options. For folks like me I wish they would stock more of the limited options for us to eat. The staff has been great, very small in there.

Charming Italian bakery in downtown Petaluma. So many wonderful looking pastries. We tried an assortment of the sweet puffs, delicious!

We were in Petaluma this past week and stopped at Stellina Pronto to purchase some baked goods. This is our 3rd time at this bakery in the past 4-5 months and it will be our last. There were many flies on the pastries that were in and on top of the display case. We were expecting company so we purchased a number of items which included cookies, cake, coconut custard tart and a few pastries. The various cookies we bought were all over baked and the tart was spoiled. The boston cream pastry did not taste good at all as the chocolate was bitter and the pastry cream was flat. In addition, this was the 2nd time that we left the bakery with our bag and found that they forgot an item that we had purchased. The last time we drove all the way home and realized that we were missing something we had paid for. This time we inventoried the bag before we left and went back inside to get that item. Our purchase of close to $75 ended up tossed in the garbage as only one of the things we bought was worth eating.

Really good food, at least what I’ve had being some of the savory and sweet pastry. They just need to do something about the flies. See them all over the pizza and items on the counter. That’s not okay.

Always busy here and mostly good stuff but today’s brioche was definitely not the best. Hard on the bottom and dense, tasted like it was a day old at least. Had another pastry weeks ago that also didn’t taste very fresh. Hope these are anomalies.
Bellisimo! Brava! Can't wait to go back! A little slice of Italy in Petaluma!

This is the second time my husband and I have been to Stellina Pronto and the first time I felt compelled to write a review. The pastries in the cooler were absolutely delicate and delicious. On top of the cooler, however, the pastries were inundated with flies! It literally turned my stomach.
Also, there were no bathroom facilities! I thought it was a rule that if a facility had seats, they had to have a bathroom. I asked just to make sure and I was told we could go to the grocery store TWO BLOCKS AWAY!
So, my takeaway - the pastries were delicious (if a bit pricey); if you can stomach taking second to the flies, then go for the pastries on the upper shelf. And make sure you go to the bathroom BEFORE stopping in!

I stopped by this bakery to try their pizza, but left feeling totally ripped off. First of all, you’re required to buy two slices—no option to just buy one. That’s $8 +15%tip minimum, which would be fine if the slices were worth it.
But when I got my order, I was shocked. These were tiny slices—way smaller than what you’d expect from a regular pizza place. Honestly, the two combined were probably less than a single normal slice you’d get anywhere else. Just some thin crust with cheese, and that’s it.
For $8, this felt like a total scam. It’s not just overpriced—it feels deceptive. This place seriously needs a reality check. Charging that much for barely any pizza is just not right. I won’t be coming back.
To make it worse, I noticed they sell the whole pizza for $22—which probably has 8 to 12 proper-sized slices. So why are they charging $8 for two miniature slices? It’s not just overpriced—it feels like a blatant trick.
This place seriously needs to get real. Until then, I’m not coming back—and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who doesn’t enjoy being ripped off.
