Petaluma is extremely lucky to have Stockhome. And that's because there's too many of all the usual restaurants, Chinese, mexican, Italian. I grew up eating a variety of European foods and Stockhome brings back alot of memories of my mom's cooking. I recommend trying everything on the menu, you won't be disappointed!!

Food is excellent, I love the fish soup; meatball dish is a little pricey though.

I love the food here, it is inventive, fresh, and delicious. That is why I chose this restaurant for a small group of acquaintances. Also, you order and pay at the counter so there is no squabbling over who owes what later. That makes it an easy experience. Unfortunately, we arrived at noon which as it happens is when the restaurant opens for lunch on Friday and it was very cold inside. The serving staff arrived just as we did and only then turned the heat on. I would have thought someone would have turned it on in advance (maybe the kitchen staff?), so customers were comfortable while they arrived and ate. The restaurant is an open space with a high ceiling and a lot of windows. That is very enjoyable, but it takes a long time to heat up. I have always found it a little on the cool side in there so I wore extra layers, but it definitely was not enough for today and we were all cold through our meal. We could have had dessert there as well but left when we were done with our entrées and went somewhere else (warmer) for dessert. I want an inviting, warm environment when I dine out. Eating out is not inexpensive and I'm willing to pay for it when it's a pleasant environment and the food is good. Stockhome can be a delightful place but it let me down today.

When restaurants have lots of hard surfaces (floor, walls, windows, ceilings) with no coverings, it becomes very loud, to the point of being uncomfortable. I couldn't wait to leave, even though I really enjoyed the food.

My wife and I have been there a couple of times And it has been a great experience, the Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, gravy, and lingonberries it was delicious. My wife had the French onion soup. I love this place very comfortable atmosphere, exceptional staff it's our go to place in Petaluma.

Had the mezze plate, modules frites, and the 2 beers and tap. The fries ended up being sweet potato fries, which I wasn't expecting, but ended up loving. Not usually a fan of sweet potato fries, but these were definitely the best I've ever had. Everything was delicious and perfect executions of the dishes. Very casual and reasonably priced as well. Definitely see why it's in the Michelin bib gourmand list!

We were in Santa Rosa and saw a sign that said Sunday was the last day for restaurant week. We went through the list and decided to come here for dinner because of all the positive reviews. We were able to find street parking right around the corner of the restaurant on a Sunday a quarter before 6pm. Right when we walked in, I felt the cold breeze and it seemed like they had the A/C on, so I was freezing the entire time I was there. After looking at the menu, we decided to go with their restaurant week special because we wanted to try the different dishes. After ordering from the counter, we were given a number to be place on the table. It did take awhile for the food to come out even though the restaurant wasn't completely full. Although the portions were small, everything was delicious. I wished they gave more meatballs though. Not sure if the small portions had to do with it being restaurant week. I would come back again to try other items on their menu the next time I'm in the area in hopes that the portions are bigger.

Was looking forward to trying this place. Sadly it was disappointing for the most part. Person taking our order was not capable. She poured a very small wine pour (based on observations of another staff member's pours we witnessed after). She ended up getting our food order wrong (not realizing this til our food arrived. We ended up with falafel w salad and French fries. Had ordered wraps. Falafel would've been great bc they were perfectly crispy but they were raw inside. Salad had zero dressing as we were informed they use a lite vinegrette. There was literally none. Yes, we ordered falafel (wraps) at a Swedish restaurant but heard they were outstanding. We also ordered the hummus but were a little put off that it came with nothing to scoop it up with. Pita chips? Something? It was very good though. The interior is very austere, you order at the counter, have a great thank youand we were glad we had jackets, as it was quite cold inside. Staff eats out at tables for customers which feels weird.

The food was delicious!! A bit pricey, but it's healthy and a good bod costs some money so it's fine. The aesthetic is so cute, perfect for a chill day downtown with the girls. The employees were very sweet as well! I would go again when I get another paycheck, LOL!
