Street Social excels at creativity, hospitality, and is without a doubt the best dining experience in Petaluma. With an ever-evolving menu and a steady commitment to quality, it's the place to go for that special meal or celebration.

Very small dining room, short menu that changes often depending on fresh ingredients. The food was excellent. Loved the ham and grilled bread with olive oil and balsamic. Very limited wine options.

Food was excellent! Not your average kind of dishes, very unique. The wine list was a little sparse but we still enjoyed a nice bottle of red. Can't wait to go back!

Our party of 6 could be accommodated in their upstairs loft, which was a charming surprise. We had the equivalent of a private party without the pretense or expense. The menu was eclectic and interesting and we ordered broadly from it, resulting in many courses of small plates. The effect was much like a high-end tasting menu with numerous small bites, each with a mouth-tingling collage of flavors and textures. The three main dishes were all shared and exquisite, as were the three desserts. Street Social was an unexpected delight. We will definitely return and recommend highly to all.

Amazing dining experience, always bringing some spice or ingredient I've never heard of, feeling like you're the only one in the space.

We had a lovely New Year's Eve dinner - every course was perfect and the wine pairings were spot on!

I want to make it clear that I personally despise yelp critics, and this is the first time I've written a review for a restaurant. However, I do care very deeply about those who dedicate their lives to provide their guests with a thoughtful and well crafted meal. I had very high hopes for Street Social, had been wanting to dine there for a while. When presented the chance to book a NYE table, I jumped at the opportunity. Typically an a la carte service, they were doing a special pre-fixe menu for the holiday. The first red flag that I should've noticed is that there was no menu or price for the meal even two weeks out. I was pretty surprised at the $140/guest tag considering it was a four course menu, yet I still held out hope they would wow me. The soup was VERY good. Well balanced, but unfortunately this would be the highlight of the meal. The salad was also good, not amazing, slightly underdressed and lacking enough persimmon to be labeled a persimmon salad. The mains were where it seemingly went off the rails. The picanha (a relatively cheap yet flavorful cut of meat) was incredibly tough. Flavor was nice, but I'm not sure if they butchered it incorrectly, or if they didn't cook it properly, but it was laborious to chew through. The sturgeon was pleasant. A touch salty, a touch spicy, far from terrible, but nothing I would tell others about. Both desserts were mundane, unimaginative, and lacked any sort of eye-catching appeal. As far as service, I get that it is an incredibly small kitchen/staff (like two chefs, one dish, two servers), but over two hours for four courses when the restaurant seats no more than twenty is a little silly. Had to make eye contact with the server on multiple occasions to let them know we were ready for the next course. They also seemed very scattered, overwhelmed, and had very little knowledge of what each dish consisted of. I would love to come back and see what they do for a normal service, but am very cautiously pessimistic.

Wonderful, interesting, imaginative food, just as we expect from this extraordinary chef and restaurant. The sommelier picks wines produced by small wineries, mostly by women and POC, to pair with the food.

Amazing food and service. Great spot, tucked away in a historic neighborhood. Warm hearty flavor without feeling weighed down. Fresh and creative. We'll come again. Great for date night, or some one on one time with a good friend.

We had been wanting to come here for a long time, but finally made it for our anniversary and boy were we happy that we finally came! The feel of the place is so cozy and sweet, the server/host was amazingly friendly and helpful and really knew her stuff and the food was more than outstanding! It was flavorful beyond belief and so creative and fresh. We are going to try to come here once a month now, it's a treasure.

the food and Service is always amazing. I've been coming here for the past couple of months consistently and I love how supportive and knowledgeable. The staff is the food is absolutely amazing and will composed. I can only say good things about this restaurant. It literally is the best place of ever eaten.

The food was delicious, however, not particularly plentiful. What really stood out was the overworked server that ended up being pretty gruff and inattentive. She dismissed several requests along the night or simply forgot about them. We ended up sitting outside of the restaurant in the hallway which they call the patio. Pretty far cry from being a patio. When you spend $200 on dinner, you would hope to get something a little bit more valuable than a seat in the hallway.

This was my second time dinning here and I was just as blown away as I was the first time. Food quality is stellar and a great value. I will be returning many more times.

Great, inventive food - with a fresh menu every week. Excellent short wine list filled with local producers.
