First time to Petaluma, first time to Sugo Trattoria. Did I make the BEST decision ever; YES! First off, adorable little spot inside. Just cozy enough, but they have the table spaced appropriately to not be on top of one another. Great, great, great service. Tracy was our server, but this entire STAFF was attentive and looked like they really help the restaurant run smoothly. Loved the kitchen had an opening, but not so open that it is too loud. Delicious food. Delicious. We had appetizer, salad, entree and dessert and not a thing was out of place. Right amount of seasoning on everything. Nothing out of place. The service was impeccable, not only from our great server Tracy, but the way the entire team seemed to work together to keep the place running and orderly. Very friendly service, but no one was hovering around. A perfect dinner out. I would come back again to try different entrees, but would eat the same fig salad again! I am not a huge Tiramusu fan, but this was exceptional. Perfect texture, perfect taste. I should have brought a second serving home for tomorrow.

We dined here during the pandemic in 2020. It was very good and we remembered how really good everything was. We came back here for my milestone birthday on the way to Sonoma for the weekend. YES, this restaurant did not disappoint us. Everythinhg we ate was really good. Highly recommended.

We dined at the restaurant two nights in a row during the Labor Day race weekend. Everything on the menu was delicious. We couldn’t resist ordering bruschetta at least twice before the main courses. Although we don’t drink wine, our friends seemed to really enjoy the white wine. We’ll definitely return when we’re back in town.
Nice quaint Italian cuisine. We ate outside. Good food and friendly staff. Busy place with dine in and take out customers. In the heart of Petaluma. I’d go back next time in town.

Party of 6, great service, a 10!!! Great food!!!! Best experience and we all agreed, we are coming back, when?? we'll everyone wanted to come back the next day. Everything we tried was soooooo good!!!! So guess what we came back the next day and the food was so good, we were discussing should we all move to Petaluma so we can eat here, often. We are all from Southern CA, can they open one in LA so we can eat there weekly. All I can say is Petaluma is so lucky to have such delicious food available in a local restaurant. Party of 6 ate here Friday night 8/30 and Saturday night 8/31/24, best best wonderful dining experiences.

Food was incredible! Patio is dog friendly though slightly tight and very sunny at dinner time. The staff were attentive and kind, helping give us shade and water for our pup. Highly recommend!
