The 35 Thai Kitchen

Moved to Petaluma from the city a few months ago and this is the best Thai food we had in a long time. Fresh ingredients, good prices, and the staff were very sweet. We enjoyed the drunken noodle and fried rice with crab especially. We will return soon :)

We went in for dinner tonight & had a very nice experience and delicious meal. I ordered the peanut noodles with chicken and my daughter had the pad Thai. They were insanely delicious and huge portions. Served perfect and hot! The service was excellent, restaurant was clean.

Maybe the food is better in the restaurant, but the takeout was terrible.

Tom Kha Noodle Soup:
The broth tasted syrupy and artificial, minimal vegetables. The chicken was ok.

Garlic Green Beans:
So incredibly salty that was the only flavor you could taste.

Didn't finish either dish and had to throw it away.

They do not include rice with curry orders, which is simply ridiculous. The menu does not specify this so you would never know to order rice in addition to the curry dish.

I have never encountered a South or East Asian restaurant that serves curry dishes with nothing, but the staff thought this was totally normal when we called them assuming that they had just forgotten it, which would have been fine.

Otherwise flavor and quality were just basic. Would go elsewhere especially given that they want to nickel and dime you for very average food.

I live in Oakland but my daughter stay in the same building. I have bring a plate of something off the menu every week. The food is fantastic and you get a lot for the money ❤️❤️

Recommended dishes: Yellow Curry, Wings

Best Thai food in town! They are very nice and everything is flavorful, authentic and delicious. Reminds me of the dishes I had in Thailand. A favorite is the Spicy Eggplant! Will order lunch or dinner from here again and again. And just to note, we have tried every Thai restaurant in Petaluma and Thai 35 is by far the best.

Great food and service! We had the pad see ew and the red curry with duck. Both were good and the pad see ew was especially delicious! We plan to come back again :)

Amazing food everytime! Everything we have tried has always been delicious and we still will continue to come. The best Thai food I’ve had in awhile definitely would recommend. Hopefully the construction around the building won’t be hiding this little gem much longer I feel like it’s been going on for awhile but don’t hesitate to come check them out!

This was such good Thai food and it was quick. Some of the tastiest yellow curry and crab rangoon I’ve had in a while.

I live in the building upstairs and sometimes run down for an iced Thai tea… it’s good tea and so is the food compared to other Thai food in Petaluma.

The service HOWEVER is rather lack of and some of my neighbors agree as well. The man who runs the register lacks enthusiasm, energy and overall basic customer service skills. He is so sassy and rude.

The kitchen staff seem so sweet and polite —so hopefully that one man works on his customer service skills or he’ll bring the entire restaurant down. We’ve seen 3 or 4 different restaurants in that same location come and go, and I fear that this place will not be the exception.

Please, please work on getting better staff to run this place.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants in Petaluma by far. Love the spicy beef dumplings, soup options, and they have an amazing pad thai. HIGHLY recommend!!
