The restaurant and bathroom was really dirty, and the sandwich was mediocre. No paper towels in the bathroom. I usually love Cheesesteak Shop but this location is weak.

While in Petaluma, Boyfriend and I decided to try the Cheese Steak Shop and we were not disappointed. I got the Motown Philly with chicken and Boyfriend got the King of Philly with chicken. I think we ordered after lots of people called in their orders because it took them a long time to finish our order, but it was worth the wait. The steak fries were yummy and the sandwich was delicious. I have no idea why I decided to get it with peppers; I hate peppers. But they were easy enough to remove and put on Boyfriend's sandwich. We couldn't finish our meal there so we got it to go. The young guys helping us went MIA, I think they were watching soccer, so we had to reach over the counter to grab our own paper bag, but that's okay. I would definitely eat here again.

If you miss Philadelphia or have never been, come to Petaluma! I've had my order ready for pick up in 8 minutes! The dudes behind the counter are always so nice and I enjoy that they try to make sure every order is correct and fresh. If you're cool you get the cheese sauce on your sandwich!

The food is delicious and the crew that work there are very nice and professional... that being said, I definitely dont reccomend delivery.1 sandwich was $27.32!? after the "fees"That's if doordash even bothers to pick up your order. They tend not to even pick up your food unless you give them at least a 30% tip... after they already marked up the menu price.Doordash is a horrible " service" it is rated a 1 as a company, go read the reviews... and you put your reputation in their hands? It will be downfall of all these places offering delivery now because it costs them customers.Won't bother ordering again just to have some other company charge me DOUBLE and then not even show up.

BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER. I ordered a king sized hoagie and it was barely filling. 80% OF EVERYTHING WAS ON ONE HALF OF THE SANDWICH IN A DISGUSTING AND SOGGY PILE OF SLOP.! THE COOKS ARE UNBELIEVABLY CARELESS!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLY DISSAPOINTING. NEVER AGAIN.

For a quick cheese steak this is the spot. Plus their onion rings are on point. I've never had anything except the original cheese steak but only because it's so good I haven't ventured the rest of the menu. Maybe one day but probably not, if I'm going I'm getting the cheese steak
The worst! Perhaps 1 on LG mushroom cheesesteak....side salad was old...wilted!!Disgusting! Kids Chicken was miniscule, 2 tiny chicken piecs and too many fries. Terrible service...dirty tables...dirty bathroom!

I've never been so grossed out just by walking into a restaurant. It smelled so bad, like BO or something. I was there at 11:30, just 30 minutes after they open, and there were multiple dirty tables with dried ketchup/sauce. The ketchup couldn't have dried in thirty minutes. That means that the closer last night don't clean the tables, as well as the opener in the morning. I can't even eat my food because if that's how dirty the front of the place is, I don't even want to imagine the back. Blech. Will never go back.

So tonight my husband and I decided to make a trip from Santa Rosa to the cheesesteak shop. Bomb food! Anyways, I left my wallet in the restaurant unknowingly and Ethan (the cashier) brought my wallet to me (full of cash) all the way from Petaluma back to me in Santa Rosa! THANK YOU ETHAN!! SO APPRECIATED!!! GOOD PEOPLE STILL EXIST & GOOD THINGS WILL COME YOUR WAY!!!

Sorry the pic is blurry.I had a BBQ Bacon Cheesesteak with all the onions and peppers. Absolutely wolfed it down with a Black Cherry Creme Soda. Friend had the same. Except for the storefront facing the hot late morning sun, effectively overheating the place, there was certainly nothing to complain about. Great food and friendly staff.
