I miss you guys and the wonderful meals and wines. You will forever be my favorite place.

Food was ok. Not worth the price. For that much money they can do better than to put bbq potato chips on our plate.

I have been a long time fan of Twisted 2.. Dick & Julee put together the best fresh fish in the area! Julie's creative style & attention to cooking with the freshest ingredients makes her one of the top chefs in the area! Dicks paring of wines with every meal cannot be topped. His knowledge is endless..Dick & Julie have something special to offer, they bring you right into their dinning room, treat you like a good friend, fill you up with good food & wine to ones complete satisfaction!

This is a very small restaurant Seats 18 people. Price fix meal with wine pairings if you like. All food and wine outstanding. The owner explained item. His wife is the chef and made all the pottery. There is also live music.

This isn't dinner, it's an experience. The menu is amazing from the first bite to the last. Especially if the last bite is the walnut cake. Dick goes above and beyond to explain the menu, the wine, the handmade dishes. We had a great night and will be back again for sure.

My husband and I went here using gift certificate from our daughter for our birthdays. This place exceeded any expectations. The food was beautifully presented and every course was paired with really good wines. There are only 6 tables in the whole place. One of the owners greets you, seats you and takes your order. His wife is the chef. The sashimi was the best ever. The bbq pork tenderloin could melt in your mouth. We spent about 2 hours here. It is truly an "experience ". We will be back.

I'm obviously in the minority, but sorry, this was a huge disappointment in lots of ways. First, the food. Of the eight dishes ordered between the three of us, only one was excellent (the artichoke & flan). One more was pretty good (the espresso cake). Most were so-so at best and two were downright bad (the sauce ruined the duck and the pork chop). Secondly, the "wine pairing" did not seem to really be a pairing. It didn't seem as if the wine was specially purchased for these dishes nor the dishes concocted especially for these wines. Rather, it seemed very much as if pairings were on the basis of what happened to be available at the time that would make a decent match. But the wine and food didn't go together nearly as well as at some true Sonoma County pairings. Third, I realize that some people like to hear the sommelier go on and on about the background of each wine, but we're among those who don't. Knowing all that information is not going to make one bit of difference as to whether I like it or not. Show me the label, pour it, and let me drink it, and if I have a question about it I'll ask. Making us listen to information we cared nothing about was four or five rude interruptions of what had been good and much more important conversation. Admittedly, I've had the same complaint at other fancy restaurants, however. Why can't the sommelier ask each table whether they want the 5 second or 180 second version of the wine information and indulge our preferences? (Otherwise, Dick was great -- very friendly, very attentive, etc., but the wine patter was bothersome.) Fourth, ordinarily I love jazz and I love jazz guitar, but the music was obnoxious. Turn it down. When people applauded the guitarist upon announcing his break, the applause, at least from our table, was for the break, not the music. (The guy is definitely good, but turn down the volume; it's a noisy place to begin with.) Great concept, but way too much room for improvement to justify a return.

In reviewing this restaurant's website and past reviews, I was so excited to have had the opportunity to dine here last weekend. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Undeniably, the wine and service were very good. However, the food was just ok. For the price of the menu, I expected a little larger portions and more high end ingredients. I felt a little taken advantage of by the entire setup. For 4, it was $500. Sorry, not worth it.

This is the best restaurant in Petaluma, our favorite special cozy personal place with consistently amazing dishes and exquisite pairings. Reserve early!

Twisted 2 is a hidden gem of a restaurant! My wife and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and chose this restaurant based on the reviews we were reading and we had to check it out for ourselves. Dick and Julie Warner are the best! We chose the dinner with the wine pairing and it was perfect. Every wine Dick brought out came with a little background on the wine maker and the wine itself. Every course prepared by Julie was beyond what we could have imagined. The menu encourages you to try new things and you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back!!

Not too many times in your life do you have an opportunity to eat Michelin quality food, in such an inviting, friendly atmosphere as that at Twisted 2. Two weeks after dining at Providence, in Los Angeles, I was fortunate enough to find my way to Petaluma, and score a last minute reservation for some of the best farm to table food i can remember ever having. Providence may have the stars, but they have nothing on the quality of food and service I recieved at Twisted 2. My only regret is that I live so far away that I cannot dine there every single night. You have to get the duck breast, cooked to perfection.

This place is a little gem that offers a prixe fix menu where you can add a wine pairing. Everything was excellent and the owners take the time to get to know you and explain everything. Highly recommend if you are in the area but make sure to have reservations.
