As a party of 6, showing up at a busy time for Sunday brunch, we waited a little over 30 minutes; ate outside; everyone was happy with their order: avocado toast, “dog fight”, fish & chips, regular burger and garden burger. Excellent onion rings! Yummy homemade coffee cake… all good!

The food is okay, and the service is perhaps on the laid back side, but this place more than makes up for it for the airplane enthusiasts. You can watch the planes take off and enjoy the themed decor.
They also have a great kids meal that has appropriate kid portions and variety on the plate so that something is bound to appeal to your kid.

Everytime we go, I get the chicken fried steak and my hubby gets the special or something else on the menu he hasn't tried and we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their food!!! My hubby said Two Niner Diner was one of five places that he likes!!!

Very nice, interesting atmosphere at location inside the airport. Fast service with a few misques like missing water for some of our party, poached eggs overcooked and avacado toast covered deeply in arugula with all the spices only on the arugula. All the rest of the food was great with the home fries and blueberry coffee cake as particular favorites. Quite good sized portions. Would go back again when we're in the area.

Loved the location of this diner. I was staying in Petaluma at a friend's house and she was walking distance to this small airport with a diner. Very cool view while having breakfast, beautiful place to visit.
Good selection of dishes, focusing on the standards (sandwiches, eggs, meats) and plenty of meat substitutes which were also tasty. Avid Coffee. Prices don’t seem to be rising as quickly as the rest of Petaluma, so that’s nice. And I love the aviation photography covering the walls.

This place is where time stands still. Amazing food and friendly staff. A+ I can't recommend it enough. You won't be disappointed!
They have the best Ube toast there is in the entire Sonoma County and the coffee is brilliant. If your a fan of planes and flying one or family members who has interest, this is the place. Its cozy, friendly, and more intimate. I actually thought I saw a celebrity there one time. Hehehe
