Amazingly delicious food. I got the chicken swarma wrap, my usual go-to if it's on the menu at an establishment. This has to be the best swarma wrap I've ever had. Lots of flavor and a little kick. I will definitely be back during my visit to Petaluma.

Wow. I went here with my son recently. I had a falafel salad (I’m gf so no wrap) and my son had the lamb shawarma wrap. We also had chocolate halva, baklava and turkish coffee, which was served from a gorgeous little pot. The food was outstanding! The falafel was so fresh and delicately crispy, strewn throughout a salad perfectly balanced with fresh lettuce, herbs, mint, cucumber and amazing hummus. My son was equally delighted with his shawarma. The desserts were housemade and fabulous. We spoke with the friendly owner Sam (Wassam) and hope to see more of a middle eastern vibe there in the near future - the ambiance is okay, but you can’t tell by walking by how special this place is…check it out everybody!! This joint is a keeper, seriously the tastiest bite I’ve had in some time.

We happened to find this spot on our way from Santa Rosa to Novato.
We had chicken swarma wrap, Mediterranean sample plate, chicken swarma plate, chicken swarma bowl, and chicken gyro. All were delicious and the hot sauce added a great kick!

We’ve been to Urban Deli in Petaluma well over 20 times, and it’s always amazing. Our go-to is the chicken kebab plate…tender, flavorful chicken served with rice, fresh cucumber salad, creamy hummus, and warm pita bread (all for under $20!) The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous. The owner is incredibly kind, and his family is just as wonderful. They have Turkish coffee, desserts and Dubai Chocolate also, if that’s your thing. Please support these local owned, family gems. Definitely one of our top three favorite restaurants in Petaluma!

The Urban Deli, as Lee the fireman tells me is the best deli in Petaluma, and he ought to know, he's lived here all his life. Well, I normally go to one of the other delis, but seeing that Lee was with me...we'll go hit up the Urban Deli this time. All I can say is WOW! Lee was right m, my sandwich was Amazing! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

I’m generally the kind of guy that finds a spot and orders the same thing over and over again because why deviate. This place though! I have to try more. I went in looking for soup because I was feeling a little under the weather, it revived me. So much so that before I left I ordered a chicken swarma wrap and daaaaaaaaang it’s even better then the lentils I just had!
I’m already eyeing the chicken swarma Fries for next time!

I had the fatoush salad with chicken and it was fantastic. The sumac dressing is delectable, and it's super fresh, crunchy and satisfying. The servings are very big too, I could have saved half of it for another meal. But it was too yummy.
Previously I've ordered the falafel wrap and it was great too, but that sumac dressing, man! So good. I got a rose pistachio Turkish delight, which was super yummy. All the deserts look great. I regret not splurging on the Dubai chocolate cheesecake! Next time I will.
