Interesting locals spot. Decent if you’re passing through and need a bite. I got the philly shaved beef omelette. Was a bit underwhelming, but did the job of satisfying my hunger.

Washoe House offers a charming and historic dining experience! Delicious comfort food, cozy ambiance, and friendly service. A delightful spot for a memorable meal with family and friends.

Service was the best part. This place has a lot of character. It is old and funky with old time feel. Appears that a lot of locals frequent this restaurant/pub. At 10 am the bar was filled with customers with a large mug of beer in front of them which is not necessarily a negative vibe. Breakfast was ample. We had the chicken fried steak and eggs and asked for the hash browns to be crispy. The eggs were cooked as we requested and the hashbrowns were definitely crispy. I have had better chicken fried steak, but the service was very friendly. Servers were very attentive to refilling our coffees.

Our meal was delicious, and the service great. I accidentally spilled my cocktail, and the waitress replaced it without hesitation and graciously cleaned up the mess that I had made. Ambiance is something you must experience!

Had the half fried chicken with clam chowder. Chowder should have been served first but I had to find the waiter to ask for it. The chicken was seasoned with salt and pepper and fried. The outside was crunchy and the inside was very moist and tasty.

Steak was chewy, vegetables were not fresh and mashed potatoes were cold. Cobbler and drinks were good and so was the service.

Drinks were good. Vegetables were frozen not fresh. Meat was a bit chewy and fatty. Mashed potatoes arrived cold. Peach cobbler was good. Service was really good. Just barely got the 2 stars.

Great place!! I love the staff, the charm, the drinks, the food. The Caesar with grilled chicken, the Henhouse fried chicken, and the deep fried cheese curds are my favorites!

I had heard about this place but when I arrived I was put off by the entrance hallway full of dog poop and at the entrance there was a sign that pets were not allowed but apparently the manager of this place didn't care.Don't get me wrong, I love dogs, in fact I have 3. But arriving at a restaurant where from the entrance and the entire hallway with dog poop and also a dog inside bothering all the people, Pete the manager is very bad

SB Sunday 2024. This is a seriously great burger. Giant. Pic: That "toothpick" at the top is a full-sized skewer. Like a kebab or satay skewer. I felt like I needed to be a different species to eat it. Service was attentive, polite and on point. This is a road house. It has a road house ambiance festooned with boxing gloves, thousands of dollar bills, and brick-a-brack.
