The pizza was tasty. Had no issues w the service or staff. This looked like a cool joint. Fun vibe. I'm giving it 3 stars though because it reeked of dog urine. It was not enjoyable to sit through. If you're a dog owner and you let your dog urine wherever it pleases, this is prob the spot for you.

Love this place! Amazing pizza and staff. By far the best pizza in town and a must try.

Got here at almost closing time and the service was amazing. I got the New York New York pizza and a couple Nutella cannolis . Being from New York and having pizza all around the country, this place is a great find. Will definitely have it again when back in town.

I've been a handful of times and their pizza has always been yummy. The customer service was great aswell. Super sweet. Last night I went with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday and I hadn't caught the name of the man who took my order but he noticed it was my birthday and had given me a discount. Super sweet and unnecessary kindness that made my night. Definitely will continue to come for the pizza and kindness

Wood-fired, Neapolitan-style pizza! Yes, please!Zimi is located at The Block, a newer beer garden and food park near downtown Petaluma.I wanted to check out The Block but also to grab a pizza on my way out of Petaluma. I was delighted to find a Piadina on the menu so ordered that instead! What is a Piadina, you ask?Per their website, "Piadina is an Italian flatbread roasted with olive oil, roasted garlic, oregano, and parmesan cheese, served underneath salad greens and can be folded and eaten sandwich-style."In other words, a Piadina is my perfect meal!I ordered the Medusa Piadina (arugula, Parmesan, fennel, and olives tossed in house-made lemon vinaigrette) and added bacon...because balance! The Piadina was $17.00 and the bacon was a $3.50 add. The flatbread was thin and light and crispy. The veggies were fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend this and look forward to getting another! If you are ordering this to go, be sure to ask dressing on the side so that the flatbread doesn't get soggy.Zimi also offers pizzas with a red-, white-, or green-base (tomato sauce, olive oil, pesto), calzones, gyros, and salads. The Block has covered/indoor and uncovered/outdoor communal seating as well as an area for live music. I stopped by late-afternoon on a weekday so it was pretty quiet, but I hear that it's a lively spot at night and on weekends, and I'd definitely return to experience the energy and to enjoy more eats and treats from Zimi.

Pretty good. I’ve ordered a couple times now and like it a lot. There have been a couple times where the bottom was a little burned though. Also, if you are ordering through an app, they can be slow to get the order done.

They were opened until 11:30 pm on veteran's day. Alcohol/ drinks in the photo was not from zimi but from the bar stall. We got their elote pizza and after I had it I realize I won't normally image of canned corn and Mayo topping as gourmet. Presentation is nice but I wish I got a more normal pizza haha. There's many groups here, good people watching and hangout spot.

The pizza and calzone were badly burned. I tried a bit, ingredients were good, the crust that wasn’t burned seemed promising. Luckily Door Dash refunded me. Guessing The oven is way too hot. The bottom of both were burned, not toasted. I’ll give them time to dial in the oven, and give them another try next month.

Incredible wood-fired pizza with so many unique ingredients that make their pizzas truly stand apart. All their ingredients are locally sourced and they are family owned. They have great specials, salads and gyros too. The Block has the best beer garden and full bar to enjoy with these hand-tossed pizzas. Highly reccommend their Phoenix, Zeus pizza or their meat lovers calzone.

Went to the restaurant an hour and half after I placed my order because I hadnt received any updates. When I got there the restaurant had clearly been closed long before I stopped in despite posted hours. Thank God I selected pay at pickup.

The prices keep going up and the pizza gets more and more mediocre. I've been going to The Block since it opened, and (a pretty good) pizza was always the non-rotating food option. When the previous pizza maker left, a Zimi came in - I believe they are from the same people that operated the Greek food truck that came through. We thought the pizza was pretty decent and at first, but as the years have gone by, my wife and I both agree it's not as good as it used to be. I think it's the dough - Neapolitan-style should be flavorful, light, and bubbly (which I think it USED to be) but their pizza has become dense and more bread-stick like. Not terrible, but a far cry from Tony's in North Beach. And the prices keep climbing! A margherita - a pizza with the simplest of toppings: mozzarella, sauce, and basil - was $18 but is now $21. If you want any sort of toppings you're looking at $24+ for a 12" pizza. A plain kids cheese is $18. If these pizzas were amazing, I'd have no problem with the price - But they're in Sonoma County charging San Francisco prices for a product that doesn't live up to the price tag. Two 12" pizzas is frankly not enough for our family of four (kids are 2.5 and 5) and costs $45 plus tax and tip. When the pizza was better, we used to order 3 pizzas and have a few slices left over but we're not trying to go broke on overpriced mediocre pizza. Since the pandemic, the rotating food trucks are less frequent so Zimi Pizza is often the only food option - which has led us to going elsewhere instead of coming to The Block. Which is unfortunate, because we love The Block. The pizza is honestly passable (what pizza isn't) but not at these price points.

Terrible. $19 for whatever they call a margherita... Athena? Hardly any cheese on it, cold, but on the bright side it took forever. If I ever return to The Block, I'll eat somewhere else first.

I am a little fussy on my pizza and here the crust was a little thick and it ranged from very well done on the bottom to a little soft - not my favorite. The location is great and being at this location is great. I would love to try it again and the pizza again, but on this visit it was not great.
