Got lucky and tripped across this gem. Great service, wonderful food, an extensive menu with some options you don’t see all the time - at least not where we usually travel. The portions were generous but not ridiculous, more importantly the food was served hot - we travel and eat out enough to really appreciate when the hot food arrives hot. Biscuits were fluffy, tortillas with the machaca were soft and tasty. The home fries were real potatoes, not the pre-cooked frozen potatoes...
The waitress and atmosphere was wonderful and felt like home. I ordered the hamburger and fries I tested every restaurant by the hamburger and it was amazing It reminded me of a hamburger I have been looking for since my favorite place closed and ordered the chicken fried steak with homemade biscuits and gravy and that tasted awesome. We eat here only when we treat ourselves cause i feel this place is the best of the best in the phelan area. I love there sausage burrito and the lumberjack for breakfast. So far I tried the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, the Frisco burger, pastrami sandwich, and the meatloaf ?
