Nicely decorated, service point on, but best of all was the food. Real home cooked oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar, honey and milk, turkey sausage, huge serving of hash brown, eggs exactly as ordered! Thank for great breakfast

Food was trash. Coffee tasted like soap. Seats are falling apart. The wait staff didn't want to do their job or go out of their way to get everyone to have a good experience. They were attentive but, we've tried eating here multiple times, thinking maybe it'd be different each time, but all in all, long story short, my family and i will not return to this establishment.

I came to visit family from Texas. They suggested this cafe. I came in right at open and I was immediately tended too by the owner Ray. The experience, service, and food were amazing. I’ll be sure to come when I visit again.

Attention fellow customers of Skillet cafe in Phelan, beware of the white lady with blonde hair. She threatened a fellow (what seems) training employee in front of an almost full house at 10:00am this morning. She was cursing at the employee threatening to fight her all because of mishap. That is no way to talk to anybody especially someone who is new. I came with my almost 1 year old, my niece, and MIL and I was scared of what this white lady might do. My mother in law told her we won’t be coming back and the white lady kept rambling trying to argue with my kinda-hearted MIL saying she doesn’t care. Unless the owners of skillet cafe fire this lady I won’t be returning due the incident. I’ve been coming here with my family for 2.5 years and have loved it but the issues with the employees is downright ridiculous. Clearly that lady had mental illness or was downright racist. Sincerely a former customer.

It was a nice, quiet atmosphere. The prices were pretty good service was great. I went there with a couple of friends and we sit there having breakfast for a while. No one ever bugged or rushed us. I'm looking forward to my next trip.
