With a long road still ahead and hunger setting in before driving a fairly long stretch of mountain road, I searched on Google and found this place. In this quiet spot, I could also see the Chimney Tree and give my dogs some time to rest in the spacious outdoor area. As for the food, I would recommend the burgers made with local meat rather than the Fish & Chips.

Got burgers and fries. Burgers were good. We had no signal and they refused to share wifi. Nice to be able to sit outside under the trees.

We had burgers here that were delicious. Loved that you could add your own tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, onions and jalapenos. Was made fresh to order. The buns were fresh. Would stop again.

Amazing fries! What looked to be a homemade vegan burger patty, and had a gluten free bun option. Friendly chef too.

Fun stop on the Avenue of Giants. Good burgers, great shakes, and a fun peek into the Chimney tree. Clean restrooms

Located at the southernmost point of the Avenue of the Giants, this is a great spot to grab a bite to eat before, or after, you drive through the beautiful redwood trees.
Friendly service.

Impressive hollowed redwood you can walk inside. A quick and memorable stop, and it’s free, which makes it even better. However, the on-site grill was overpriced and the food quality did not match expectations.

Great little stop on the drive. Price was a little more than I would have preferred pay for what it was, but the atmosphere and free chimney tree made up for it!

Decent Burgers, high prices. Overall worth a stop to dine and check out the chimney tree if you're into it. Probably the last Philipsville establishment worth visiting. I hope someone tries to revive the town but who knows.

Meh - my food was pretty good. The hub was not impressed with the BLT. There was really nothing to it. $50 for both of us.
