Always see this restaurant on my commutes so wanted to try it out. I like the food, but personally the prices are just too high for the portions and how simple the food is. There’s only one chef so did have to wait a good bit while he finished working on other people’s orders, so would definitely order ahead.
I really like the horchata, but it’s maybe a bit watery for most people. The salsa is also really watery and has no flavor apart from spice.
They charge an extra dollar for card, whether TAP or insert, so it bothered me a bit that they didn’t mention it beforehand when telling me my total price.

Second time going to Lupe’s in Pico Rivera. First time I went I ordered a chicharon burrito and it was awful. I tried going back today after a few months. Don’t know why I ordered the chicharon again I guess hoping it was going to be different. Nope. It was awful again there hard shell tacos are good. But i recommend never order the chicharon I don’t know what it’s made of but it’s not chicharon. Just a heads up. I added a picture, where’s the chicharon at?

This is my go to for a chicharron burrito. I get it with cheese. First of all the chili is bomb hot! Which i love. Off you can't handle hot don't get it. The fries are those old school greasy kind that go good dipped in salsa. The hard shell tacos are perfect as s the tostadas. I'm also a fan of the green burrito which comes with shredded beef. I've been coming here for at least 40 years and you either love it or not. But it is delicious!!!

I love the food here but recently I ordered a special quesadilla w/quacamole, a soft tostada w/guacamole, a hard shell taco & a order of taquitod w/extra w/quacamole + extra green chili to go. My total was $45. & Cents...I should have asked for the receipt because I think I was overcharged.

The food was horrible, the burger have so much mayo! The burrito de chicharon is only chile rojo but supposedly blended with the chicharon. The fries were drowned with oil. Won’t recommend.

I was drawn to this restaurant by the amount of views. And let me tell you someone lied. I was not too happy with the burritos I ordered. I asked what was recommended or popular and they told me the pastrami burrito. And I also ordered the Carnitas burrito. The pastrami burrito was neither tasty nor filling. I would not recommend. I asked my friend about the Carlitos burrito. And they complained that the meat was dry and hard and that the beans had no flavor. It looks like we both complained about small portions. There are no free refills here on the drinks. Parking is limited. They do accept cash or car. I will not be coming back to this place. Not sure if everybody else feels the same way.
