Delicious chilaquiles. The Queca (quesadilla) was also phenomenal. Everything tastes homemade (which it is if you peer into kitchen when you go use restroom). To top it all off you can go to their bakery and grab something sweet. The 3 flavor concha was the best I’ve had.
Taquearte is very popular. They are known for their chilaquiles.
We ordered the chilaquiles with chorizo & egg. The chips stayed crisp in the tangy spicy salsa. They had a nice variety of side salsas as well.
Most people don't complain about cheese. When it came out though, it looked like cottage cheese, which cooled off the chilaquilas more than it should have. It is Mexican cheese, though.

I finally had the opportunity to visit Taquearte CA. It was too late in the afternoon to get what I want to try for breakfast since it was after 4pm when I got here. Nonetheless, I decided to take a chance and try a single taco de Bistec with melted grilled cheese, nopalez, potato, on a flour tortillas. It was little pricey for what I thought I was going to get...until they brought it out. O.....M....G!!!!!!
