I finally had the opportunity to visit Taquearte CA. It was too late in the afternoon to get what I want to try for breakfast since it was after 4pm when I got here. Nonetheless, I decided to take a chance and try a single taco de Bistec with melted grilled cheese, nopalez, potato, on a flour tortillas. It was little pricey for what I thought I was going to get...until they brought it out. O.....M....G!!!!!!

The chilaquiles are the best I've had in a long time. Reminded me of when I had them in Chihuahua. The quesadilla with mushrooms and steak was out of this world too! Top notch flavors and very good service.

We ordered the chilaquiles with chorizo & egg. The chips stayed crisp in the tangy spicy salsa. They had a nice variety of side salsas as well.
Most people don't complain about cheese. When it came out though, it looked like cottage cheese, which cooled off the chilaquilas more than it should have. It is Mexican cheese, though.
