Been many times. Keep trying, hoping it gets better. We've had long wait times ( servers were friendly) and burnt food. We asked about the special one night and was told it was super tender. We couldn't chew it. Couldn't complain because no one checked on us. Had a burnt omelette for breakfast once. It may be better now but we won't chance it.

Went in for breakfast with my family (wife and toddler). Our server Brittney was very attentive and friendly, great service. The food was good. After reading some of the reviews we still wanted to try it. We weren't disappointed. I had the farm breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were on point and my wife's eggs benedict has nice hollandaise without the overly lemony flavor.I would compare it to solid diner food experience. It wasn't fancy, but it was satisfying and prepared well. Reminded me of the silver lake diner at June loop, Mammoth.

Kid-friendliness: staff was very friendly to our son, thank you :)

5/2025 Had breakfast and had two coffees. My decaf was foamy.and.real bitter. Complained nicely about it.The waitress said I can.make you another but that's all we have it will taste the same.Asked.her please just bring me some.water.They mixed up.my toast and hubbies. No butter for me and butter for him .So they just switched it.I don't like white and was.not offered new toast. We no longer eat at Big John's for that reason. And of course the.rude owner. Will try the Bear Claw looks yummy and the owner is very nice ?

Finest restaurant in PMC. Not the cheapest, then, of course, but worth every penny. Great staff. Fish/steak are both incredible, every time.

I have been coming up to Pine Mountain Club for about 35 yrs and have seen plenty of restaurants come and go. ONE of the many reasons I enjoy visiting the Cafe is consistency. They are consistently friendly,, consistently clean, and consistently delicious,. I don't always stop in at every visit, but when I do I,m always glad I did!!

Reaturaunt in my town. Owned by the homeowners. It's good and reasonable. The cook is now a chef. It's worth a try. Only open weds to sun. Watch thebhours
