I dont write reviews but i love sushi and there were mixed reviews. This place was not very good. The prices were high. I spent $31 for everything not including tip. The spicy fish on top was strange and definitely not fresh. The rice on the burrito had a weird taste to it but the bulgogi inside was good. Maybe its what i got but idk. I would not recommend tbh.

I used to love this place. I ordered the dancing shrimp but the past few times I ate here I felt like the rice was too sour. at first I thought it was just a few occasions and I was unlucky but after the 4th try I just had enough.

Tempura soggy, Chicken tastes boiled first, rice stale. Yuck!

Ordered through grubhub for dinner, i got a bento box with spicy pork and a spicy california roll, the california roll wasn't made spicy, and also was sour, sushi isn't supposed to be sour. what was supposed to be spicy pork was also beef of some kind, and i don't really eat beef so the only thing i was really able to eat was rice and salad, and the other roll i had ordered to share with my boyfriend. i was really excited to try this place because i've been craving a spicy california roll and no where around here really has one, and turns out it didn't matter anyways ):

So normally I would rate supermarket sushi as 3 stars. Like the kind you get at Safeway. The sushi here is unfortunately comparable to that. I'm no sushi connoisseur by any means but dang, the sushi here is very mediocre. I got the Lion King roll and the Booty Booty roll. They're both baked rolls because I don't like raw sushi. The Booty Booty roll was actually alright. That one was my preference over the Lion King roll. I'm not sure what they put on the top of the roll but it is disgusting. It's like some type of sauce that they should be putting on the roll after it's done baking, not before. The sauce baked on the top tasted like sour milk/vomit. Kind of like cooked mayo which should not be a thing. I scraped it off the top which helped but the taste was still on there. I've had a lot of Lion King rolls because they're my favorite and this was the worst one I've ever had by a landslide. Unfortunately I won't be coming back here. But on the plus side, they have a very extensive menu and my boyfriend loves their chicken teriyaki bowls. To each their own.

This place is a hit or miss...Ive had really good sushi and other dishes and then ive also had really nasty fried food.I guess I would just say not to order any fried items from here because it smells like they haven't changed the oil for decades! The fried food smells like old fried food with a side of chemicals....I hope my family and I don't get sick from tonight's meal

Well, this is probably my 2nd time ever to write a review about a restaurant. The other time it was a positive review with nothing but praises. Sadly, this one is quite the opposite. I don't have anything good to say about Go Sushi Restaurant in Pinole. It's my son's birthday and he didn't want to eat out cause it's 100 degrees outside right now. So I ordered and picked up his favorite food. He ordered a lion king roll and a dynamite roll which he claimed was ok but I think he was just hungry. The Caio roll was missing green onions and tobiko and if there was supposed to be eel in there I guess it was hiding somewhere in the rice. But the worse thing was the Omg roll. How fitting that they would call it by that name because omg that was a disaster. It was topped with salmon and tuna which was mushy and then it was masked with spicy mayo. I am disappointed because I payed alot for a disappointing meal. I do NOT recommend this place.

Not too bad for a fast food sushi place. Food is decent, and sushi can be hit or miss, as sometimes you get fresh looking ingredients and other times some items look older like browning avocado. Extra star for decent prices and usually quick turnaround time.

Owners and employees are so nice and food is delicious! I was so surprised by the variety in the menu and everything is priced relatively well. The sushi is delicious with a lot of different rolls to choose from including deep fried and baked rolls. I love the Sushiritto and the other variation of the sushi burritos look really good. The fish seems fresh and the meat is well cooked.

I've seen Go Sushi in passing and often thought about stopping but hadn't had the opportunity to do so. Today I decided to take the leap. It's a small business and in my opinion very intimate because of its size. Go Sushi has a "mom & pop" kind of feel. The inside is limited but everyone was friendly. I was greeted immediately upon entry. I placed an order for a Lion King Roll and a Booty Booty Roll... never mind the questionable name. The Booty Booty roll ended up being my preference. The food was prepared within a reasonable time and honestly I have no complaints. Go Sushi is local to me and I will be returning.

This is my weekly go to for sushirittos and katsu chicken. The owners are so. Nice and very meticulous. Sushi is fresh and delucious

Honestly...do not eat that sushi. It doesn't taste fresh at all and I just ate to not throw my money in the trash. Just not worth it
