Prices keep going up - cost more than the better tasting new dim sum places in Dublin & Castro Valley!! The owner/ workers never know how to say thank you to the customers!! Usually come across as unfriendly & rude!! Just assume the dummies will keep coming to pay the ridiculous prices for so-so food!!! Charges for auto gratuity for 5 people. The food is not that good to be worth anything close to what they are now overcharging!! And terrible rudeness towards customers!! That older lady owner never can smile to customers not that it would improve anything there! You can find way better dim sum for cheaper elsewhere with friendlier service!

The egg tarts are super good. Perfectly sweetened. The service is what you would expect. Fast paced and not alot of customer service, but the food comes hot .

After a family experience saying goodbye to a family member in 2025, we subconsciously gathered at the same restaurant back in 2013. That made our time together very intimate, and the servers were very kind.

This is my new go-to dim sum restaurant in the east bay! The dining room is spacious with tall ceilings, natural light, and simply elegant decor. All of my favorite dishes were on the menu and the hot, fresh food arrived quickly. The whole restaurant smelled delicious! I left feeling so lucky to have found this place, and hope to return soon!

Do not leave tips at this place they don’t give it to the waiter. They ask no tips? Or they add it anyways, but the owner is a greedy person that keeps the tip.

We went here on a Monday for brunch and we’re a bit disappointed they didn’t have the dim sum carts, I guess they only do that on Sunday but we were able to order dim sum off the menu and everything we ordered was delicious. We will definitely go back again but next time we will be sure to go on a Sunday because it’s just so fun picking thing out off of the carts where you can see how good everything looks.

I am not easily "wowed" when it comes to my favorite food in the world, DimSum.
This place KILLED IT! The Best dimsum I have ever had since Alice's Oaklands Tin's Tea House. We were going to Siagon in Albany, but they closed. This forced us to find a new place and couldn't be happier. The people here are also super nice and want you to be satisfied. Thank you King Valley Tea House, you are the absolute best!

The manager embarrassed me in front of customers by assuming that I was not going to pay my bill. Second, the manager fraudulently checked off a tip, which I did not authorize nor consent to. Third, when I called to settle this matter, the manager told me over the phone that she was not present at the restaurant. I called today 08/07/24 and she said the same thing. Finally, I was tired of all the lies and games she was playing, so I went in and there she was. I got my refund and I'll never do business them again. Please, before you leave the King Valley Tea House, CHECK YOUR RECEIPT FOR ACCURATE CHARGES! They have proven dishonest to me.
