This place is delicious! No frills doesn’t mean jeopardizing flavor and quality here. The macaroni salad is very good. The rice is nice and fresh - not dried out like some places that serve rice all day. The chicken katsu is delicious, tender, and crispy. Their sauces are good too. The service is polite, professional, and kind. Clean and sanitary restaurant. Thank you guys for your hard work and good food! I’ll def be going here again and bringing people!

Place is old but always clean. Hardly ever a wait service is fast and friendly. Food is amazing my gf loves the mac salad. Loco moco ( one of my favorites) is so delicious. We go at least 3 times a month.

Just got home and sat down to enjoy a Hawaiian bbq lunch. Much to my surprise, my food looks absolutely disgusting.I order a half bbq beef and half bbq chicken with all mac. You let me know what it looks like I received? Not only did it not look disgusting, it smelled and tasted bad. The beef had a horrible taste and smell. Hard to believe that the cooks couldn't of smelled that. Especially when they would have had to scoop up the beef scraps. Has anyone else has bbq beef served like this? I would steer clear of this place. If you choose to eat here, I'd open your container in front of them and maybe have a sample before leaving. Don't loose out on your hard earned money like I did. PS don't order the beef, unless you want terrible looking, tasting and smelling beef scraps. The chicken was slightly better, dry with very little flavor. At least it was cooked and smelled better. When I asked for hot sauce they offered Louisiana hot sauce. Are we are a fried chicken spot? I thought this was Hawaiian bbq.AND NOW THE STOMACH ISSUES.....THANKS OHANA

It used to be the best around, but now they charge you for a little bit of hot sauce or BBQ sauce, all this Asian places were worth the risk of eating suspiciously cheap food, in a generous amount, but now that they're giving less and charging you for a single sauce. It's better to get a hamburger or a burrito, that we at least know they use real meat or vegetables.

My biggest thing for Hawaiian BBQs are the mac... and this one has the better Mac than others in the area... although I'm not the biggest fan of the meat taste, not sure why... the Mac makes me a regular.
