Items arrived in beautiful condition and were well rec'd. We were told they didn't last long at all and I can believe it. We will be ordering via the website from now on!

I can't say enough about this bakery and the owner Ebony. I got there at 7:30 in the morning yesterday (7/23/2022) so I was sure to get there before she opened at 8:00. Ebony mapping at the door and welcome to me. I had never been there before but I heard she had bread pudding so I got there right away. She explained and showed me everything she had to offer. I ended up purchasing the bread pudding, banana bread and a brookie. All of these delicacies were large portions and the best bakery items I've ever had. YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK!!! If you've never been to this bakery like myself prior to this visit you must go. Between Ebony and the wonderful items you can't miss out.

What a cute local bakery in Pinole! I was on a Yelp pic spree and the photos on this page were making me hungry. I stopped in and noticed the beautiful illustration of the owner's daughter and late husband on the storefront. My heart goes out to the owner/baker, Ebony for continuing to live her dreams and her late husband's legacy through this boutique bakery. Please read her "About" section on the website. Inside was a cute setup of an array of tasty-looking sweets and I zeroed in on the cinnamon roll peach cobbler (signature dessert- and there was only 1 left!) and the banana pudding. I love how everything is homemade in small batches with TLC. The desserts were yummy - you can taste all of spices and buttery goodness in the cinnamon roll peach cobbler (I even warmed it and A La Moded it at home!) and the sweet decadent creaminess of the banana pudding. I've seen in the past that there were some savory items, like fish sandwiches, which looked amazing- hope they bring those back in the future. I will for sure return to try the pies and other pastries!

I finally got a chance to stop by and pick up some tasty treats. I was going to restrict myself to one pastry, but upon walking in and seeing the cute display of delicious offerings, I left with a bag full of yummy delights and an Ube Mocha! The owner walked in with her darling daughter as I was waiting for my mocha and just seeing their interaction really brightened my day. I got the meat and cheese croissant, cinnamon roll, a mini plain and a mini chocolate croissant and an ube cupcake that they were making for a private event and had extra. I was able to score one! Perfect timing! The meat and cheese croissant was the perfect ratio of meat, cheese and dough. A bit oily on the bottom, but I expected that from a buttery croissant coupled with cheese. The Cinnamon roll was lush and sticky. I kept going back for more bites. The croissant had the flaky outside and the signature circular layers inside. Soo good. The ube cupcake was fantastic! You can taste the ube in the cake. So happy to see more ube offerings up in this area. My ube mocha was great as well. Not too sweet, hint of ube and chocolate. A perfect afternoon for me thanks to this sweet boutique bakery.

Rude on the phone after I called this afternoon and just asked if they made fruit tarts for our daughter birthday. So I emailed the company after being insulted and to my surprise, this person I spoke to, she had the nerves to call me back and defend Her rudeness and be curt by saying she had the right to take Sunday and Monday off and that she's the owner?!!!!! The owner called and said it was her who answered the phone! She clearly had a bad day and took it out on me? A potentially new customer that could of brought lots of new business. A wonderful woman making wonderful food. You could feel the good energy when you walking in the door. This shop is a testimony to the fact that women are magical, resilient, and can pack more into one day than anyone can imagine. Amazing variety of high quality baked goods, adorable decor, and a hugely diversely talented team. I will definitely be making a larger order for catering order for my next event. My young son ripped a decoration off the wall yesterday, a small plush macaroon, And the owner said so sweetly "oh that's what it's therefore, now that his toy to take home". If that's not quality service I don't know what is.
Honestly this spot is the best hidden gem of a bakery I've found in Pinole! My sister and I stumbled upon it while picking up some food at a restaurant in the area. We saw it while driving in the lot, and looked it up immediately. The next day, we found ourselves inside being warmly welcomed by the owner! We ended up ordering the banana pudding, monkey bread, and nutella filled pastry. The pastries were great prices and an excellent size to share. The first thing I devoured was the banana pudding! It was so smooth and not too sweet! My sister loved how flakey yet put together the nutella filled pastry was, and I loved the sweetness the monkey bread had to offer. I'm so excited to come back and try more of the goods here!

Run don't walk to this Bakery it's everything that you'd hope it would be! outstanding customer service, incredible taste and high-quality ingredients. I was looking for a cake for my best friends birthday and I wanted something that would be special and I I stumbled upon this gem of a bake shop. Ebony who is the owner went out of her way to try to help me create a special moment for my best friend last minute. I told her that you know obviously I realize it's a short notice but is there something that I could buy and box it up and have an Uber come get it. I said my friend lives in Pinole and she said check out my Instagram I have a list of dailies and you can get back to me and I said well let me look real quick while I'm on the phone with you and I looked and then she said oh wait I have a 6 inch Marble cake with cream cheese frosting filled with fresh strawberries, decorated with 24k gold dust and fresh local berries and it taste so delicious. It looks like perfection! Krissy the cake designer knocked it out of the park. Also Ebony the owner included a card and put a message and signed our names & drove it to their house! Who gives you customer service like that to a stranger on the phone! This place is amazing and I was so touched by her generosity and kindness! She went above and beyond because my friend lives so close but the point is I've never met her there's a stranger on the other line and this mom and pop shop went over the top to accommodate and just try to help me. I know how rare that is. I just wanna highlight that and how much I appreciated everything she did for me to make my best friend feel special and me as well. The cake is absolutely delicious you won't find a better place to get your pastries and or cakes!

There's nothing I have tired here that i didn't love. From their shrimp and grits to fudge pastry braid- I have never been disappointed. They make customs cakes and pastries that are all delicious. Service is exceptional. Even offers gluten free and vegan options. The lemonades are all the bomb. . Family owned. Black owned. Woman owned.

Our family enjoys all the bakery offerings here. We also have had the pleasure of watching the artistic abilities of the baker, and her obvious pride in the versatility she brings to the bakery. My husband is a diabetic. Ebony made a banana bread that is vegan and has a low sugar count for him and it is the best banana bread I've had. We regularly get the banana pudding (it's in the cooler, so don't miss out!!), the oatmeal cookies, and an array of chocolate goodies. The lemon squares are my favorite (besides the banana bread). Recently it was our granddaughter's birthday and Ebony made 25 cupcakes in 3 flavors. Ebony hand-created the toppings which were very beautiful (flowers, shaved chocolate, shiny sprinkles) .
