I really like this place. This was my first time here and I enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. The brunch menu was good and had decent options to choose from. The food had flavor so I always appreciate that. The service was good but I think it needs to be just a little more attentive when it comes to closing out. We had to ask for our bill after we had been done eating for at least 30 minutes or so and all our food packed up. Overall though, we had an amazing time and I will be back.

Waitress was rude also served me a drink with a bitten cherry in my champagne glass. Music was unappealing and very loud. Also, Second time they got my order wrong within the month, i will NOT be back anytime soon.

Very very slow service. No follow thru on requests until cornered with 2nd, 3rd request. 10 min lag from 1st dish served to last (table of 9). No repeat business here. Manager told (politely) of deficiency in service. Absolutely no concern shown.

I've been coming here for a long time even when I moved across the Bay. About 15 years ago, it was really good and consistent. I enjoyed meeting up with old friends to catch up. Sadly, the last few times haven't been good experiences.
My most recent visit to this restaurant occurred this month. The drinks weren't very good at all. The pear salad was strange because the fixings didn't seem fresh, but the whole thing was drowned in an unflavorful dressing. The steak was burnt on the outside and bloody on the inside. Very strange indeed.
I don't mind a lively place, but this time it was extremely and uncomfortably loud. Also, there was a kid throwing a major tantrum in the bar area. Maybe they can seat families in the dining area and not the bar?
It's a shame because there aren't many restaurants in the Pinole/Hercules area that have a robust food/drink menu.
The waitress was nice and attentive! But, other than that, I don't see any reason to go back again.

I have dinned at Pear Street Bistro several times.
I considered it one of my favorites. However, I took my wife there on Mother’s Day. When I made the reservation, I asked about the bottomless mimosas. I was told that they would be surfing.
However, when we arrived and placed our drink order, I was told that we could not order the bottomless mimosas that were advertised online and throughout the restaurant.
The manager said because it’s a holiday and they were afraid people would drink too much and get drunk.
I explained that I was offended. And that I thought it was illegal to advertise something and did not offer to the customer.
She stated that their policy is to not serve the bottomless mimosas during their brunch on any holidays.
I asked if this had been advertised that they don’t serve the bottomless mimosas. She responded by saying this is their policy.
I explained that when I called to make my reservation specifically ask about the bottomless mimosa we were told that they would be serving them
I’m not sure how I feel about my service today at pea Street bistro
I am afraid to complain because recently I saw a news article where students the local high school made racist comments directed at Asia Pacific Islander students during a baseball game.
I’m not sure if we were denied the bottomless mimosas because we are black but the whole vibe made me very uncomfortable. My tip reflected that..
I do not recommend hair Street bistro. I do plan to follow up and see if it’s illegal to falsely advertise special then deny customer special.
Had dinner with wonderful friends!
