We love coming for their happy hour. They offer beer and wine/sake. My daughter likes the bento box, and we always get the volcano.Lots of parking. Can get busy, but I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table.

Got take out after work, food was fresh and tasty…. But NO SOY SAUCE provided! So hard to say more as it was not eating sushi without soy source. Check your bag before you drive away.

Some of the worst Japanese food I've ever had. They used to be good but now they absolutely sucked sadly.

I hate writing bad reviews but people need to be warned . I am honestly so disappointed with this place. I have been coming here for years. First I was told my baked roll would be done in 15 mins I waited 35 even though the restaurant was empty. Then I received a raw "baked" roll and called they said they were too busy to help me to call back or bake it myself? The lack of customer service from the owner is outstanding! If you don't value your customer you clearly don't value the quality of your food which is why it has gone done in quality so much. After I went in showed them the full raw roll he claimed the menu says things aren't fully baked which is false advertisement. He refused to refund me. Being pregnant he put my child's life in danger by not selling what he is advertising. But now that I see the health score review I shouldn't be eating at this dump in the first place.

If I could leave a negative star. I would. I've been coming here for years and NEVER been treated so horrible. I expressed that the fish was not good. They told me to basically figure it out and to go on my way. I told them to please refund my money. Mind you it was a small amount. Less than $20. They refused. I wouldn't recommend coming here. Horrible service.

service was completely horrible. trusting your sushi place is a big deal as they are prepping raw sushi for you to consume and i have to part ways with them. the food quality went down and the service is even worse!! went there for 1 roll and waited for over an hour for me to finally get it and it wasn't even BAKED like the menu clearly says. i asked them to fix and and they told me to go bake it in my own oven at home. i'm done and don't recommend this place to anyone

The other locations we once frequented for Japanese food have fell off and I decided to try Tachikawa. The bento box with Salmon amd shrimp tempura was tasty and fresh. Their rendition of Lionking was good and I like the way the salmon was rare, but feel like they shouldve asked me first. I wish the portions couldve been bigger for the price, but I suppose inflation has alot to do with that. I'll be coming here to try again the next time I get the craving. 4 star rating

Two stars is gracious. I’ve lived in Japan for years and my wife is Japanese. One of the worst take outs we’ve had all year. Ordered classics and thoroughly disappointing. Chirashi should be a fresh assortment of fish with accompanying pickles, vegetables and seasonal items. I have 10 pieces of warm sashimi over rice. That’s it. Our beef bento more resembled a bad day at a high school cafeteria than a thoughtful meal. It was our first and last time here. Not even going to mention what they charged. Tried to talk to the management but they “refused our comments”. Whatever that means.

Never again, this is the worst japanese food I've ever tasted. Like cat food. Portion really small. For short junk. Do yourself a favor. please don't go here.

The food was good. I liked it. Why only two stars then? For what we pay, we should be totally full. The portions they give you are for a small child. We got food for four people. Hundred bucks (plus tip I gave them even though I drove all the way to pick it up). Hundred bucks for four people. That's 25 a head. For 25 bucks I want to be full. I had the Teriyaki chicken. It was an ice-cream scoop of rice. About four bites of rice. Some lettuce with some dressing (I did not like) and some pieces of chicken. About a half a portion for a grown man. Literally. I was still very hungry when I finished this 25 bucks worth of food that wasn't remotely worth 25 bucks. Never again. For 25 bucks per person, I WANT TO BE FULL when I'm done, not looking for more to eat. This is not acceptable. And it appears a few other reviewers had the same issue. Keep that in mind if you go here. And the thing is, the people who run this place will read this. And they won't care. So remember folks - lots of money, very little food.

Very quiet, calm, little sushi place that always is good. Perfect little place for a quiet evening for two.
