New Teaspoon location and a new boba spot in Pinole! One thing I love about teaspoon is that they seem to be pretty consistent at each other their locations. This location seems to be pretty up to par with other locations I've been to. The jasmine and Thai tea were more tea forward which is good! They are true to what sweetness levels you ask for. I've fallen victim to requesting 50% sweetness at other boba shops and still having my drink be overly sweet. That was not the case with my creamy jasmine! The inside is very spacious and clean with a good amount of seating. And board games are spread out throughout the tables. Great start! I'll be back when I'm in the area.

I ordered taro lover taro chunks and paid extra for additional taro just so I have enough taro in my drinks. Upon receiving my order it seemed like extra taro I paid for was not there. Not satisfied at all.

Menu's should be fixed you have mango fun time with picture of drink with chamoy. customer service needs improvement, told cashier which drink i wanted pointing to the screen. workers putting out so many drinks on the counter, seen me grab my other drink without telling me its not mine, yet continued to just stare at me with a rude face, definitely needs to be more organized.

My friend and I are here pretty much every week to work on our art since they have free wifi. We usually order 2-3 drinks and snacks. I have yet to have a drink made incorrectly or badly and the service is decently quick, though they can be pretty quite at calling out drinks so you have to pay attention. Girls up front are always super sweet.The only thing we consistently dislike is their thai tea. It has an odd flavor to it (both in initial flavor and after taste) that I have also experienced at lilikoi so maybe it is that they use the same tea brand. I have worked at boba shops before and definitely experienced and made better thai tea than that.The have a pretty large drink selection and some interesting ones (like an ube lemonade, still haven't tried but really curious).

At 7pm on a Wednesday, the place was pretty empty and we were able to order right away (they also have a kiosk you can order at). The drinks were ready about 5 minutes later. I got the Creamy Jasmine w/honey boba ($6 +$0.75). I asked for 25% sweet and the drink came out as sweet as expected. The boba was on the firm side and the tea flavor was weaker than what I wanted. The store itself is modern and clean, with plenty of parking in the lot. They have a rewards program that you can earn loyalty points with. The app allows you to place your order ahead of time and shows in real time what is available. On a couple instances, they were out of honey boba. Today, they were out of grapefruit. Despite this inconsistency, I would return due to the convenience of location to try a different drink.

Pinole's hottest Boba shop - they serve all the standards and lots of unique offering that will tempt you away from usual. Come with a friend or few and get your game on! I came in for a quick and "Dirty Ube" fix with my nephew and his friends; we ended up missing our movie because we got lost in a game of Jenga and bomb ass lemon bars. The few times I've been in, there was a line to the door - it goes by quick...it's worth the wait for sure. Service is solid too. Back in December I placed an order for 5 drinks, two were supposed to be create your own which I realized I screwed up when they were presented. The young lady behind the counter Colleen noticed the dismay in face. Concerned, she asked if they had made an error. I told her that in my idiot freakin wisdom I had botched two "Create your owns." Honestly really disappointed with the visit today. Was finally able to make time to visit hoping to redeem the Bogo drinks we were promised from the grand opening. The lady we spoke to last time also recommended us to visit at a later time when business was less busy (a month later seems like adequate time). Placed our order with (the owner) Mark's son who was working the register and was told that the next batch of boba was going to take about 7 mins...which we were fine waiting for. However he couldnt reach his dad on the phone about our promo and told us that he couldnt honor what was written on our pamphlet cards. Wasnt sure if he didnt trust what was written (although I had explained what the promo was for; BOGO free) or if he (and apparently his co-worker) didnt know how to apply discounts/promotions on his screen... Anyways, guess the updated review for their drinks will have to wait until the owner is present at the store. Will patron other Teaspoon locations in the meantime.

My second time going to this place I waited an hour for my drinks. I ordered on the app which told me the pickup time was 5:25. I live in El Cerrito so I got there when the order was supposed to be ready. I was there from 5:25 to 6:15 waiting for 4 drinks. Of course boba ran out because they were busy. I saw everyone else getting their drinks before me while I was there sitting for about an hour since I had to wait another 20 minutes for the boba that ran out. Their drinks are good but not worth the hour wait I had.. Please prioritize the app orders not only the customers!!!!

My partner was super excited when we learned there was a teaspoon coming to the area. He remembers their menu offering his favorite taro drink. I had never been or even heard of them previously so was intrigued when we decided to drop by on a Saturday afternoon. The first thing that I noticed was how clean and slick the place looked and felt. Actually, sitting here and writing this review I'm realizing they have some solid and comfortable seating furniture, odd thing to note but kudos to them for investing in that. Anyway, the menu offers a variety of drinks and we decided to order a Dirty Ube with Boba and a Taro Lover. My Dirty Ube had quite the caffeine kick I need in the afternoon at my age. It looked pretty at first but quite dirty and unappealing after a shake. Would order again but in no rush. Hubby's Taro Lover was less sweet than expected but enjoyable. Twas everything he wanted. All in all okay experience except for the 19 minute wait for our two drinks. To be fair, they were busy but also they had hella workers. Hubby's drink was ready for quite a while and by the time mine was ready, he had to take the initiative to ask if the drinks were ours. Truthfully, by the time I got my drink I was already over it and ordering online from a place next door. Since they're relatively new, I'm sure they're still figuring things out and will return and review again. Until then, I said what I said.
