I had a bowl of clam chowder which was probably the best clam chowder. I have ever had. The staff waiting on us was very friendly and good-natured. I would go there again if I'm in the area

Don't go here if you don't want to be insulted for how you like your eggs. Chef and waitress will stand within ear shot calling you stupid and making fun of you. Wouldn't reccomend

Forgot about this place until now ,
went 2 x for breakfast 1st visit-.6 years ago.. 1st visit , crowded Saturday am & sat at table for breakfast, was ok. Food ok- didn't think anything wrong.
2nd visit 5 years ago for breakfast during a week day morning-
Not many people there. Seemed only about 4 regulars . Waitress asked where we were from & and we said San Francisco-Waitress verbized her opinions... not asked for .. She was shockingly bigoted toward everyone who was not white. I suppose she thought we would be in agreement with her because we were white. Quickly finished breakfast & got the hell out of there. Never returned.

Nice historical roadside stop food is pretty good, place is old so it's a little dirty... But worth a stop.

A very convenient stop along mountain roads to grab a bite at. Enjoyed their French Dip sandwich, the side fries were hot and fresh too. Our server’s the sweetest! Think she might be the only server working there and there were many tables but everyone’s being well taken care of.
There’s a nice outdoor patio area. Inside the restaurant, there’s an entire wall of coolers for alcohol! Before 11 they serve breakfast/brunch but after 11 it’s strictly lunch.

I only had a BLT with French Fries, and there isn't much that can go wrong with that.

Very friendly service, food was great and they sell fresh baked cookies, I suggest you pick some up as you pay your bill. In the middle of a forest on the top of a mountain is this jem.
