Planned my wedding on being there for 5 months sent out save the dates, made the invitations, bought the cake and cupcakes nearby then when I was set to pay and sign the paperwork I drove over an hour there to do so to be told once I arrived that they decided to double the price and the reasoning was all things that had already been discussed and known about for months

Loco-Moco 1/19/2025 The PERFECT dish for a cold January breakfast! A huge heaping of white rice, topped with a grilled burger patty, caramelized onion and mushroom brown gravy, two eggs cooked to your liking (mine were OH), and chives. If you ever have the problem of feeling like you never get enough to eat, you won't have that problem with this. This is a huge breakfast and I've never been able to finish it (and I eat like a trucker). I've been cooking in the restaurant business for over 30 years and I love this place. The inside aesthetic is steampunk, which I also love. The servers are attentive and friendly. The prices are very good for the large portions.

Love this place! Owners are amazing people and food is awesome. I’ve tried a variety of things on the menu and love it all. The outdoor seating is spectacular especially with the live entertainment. Highly recommend!

A nice little backwoods kind of place. We had a couple burgers that were really good. From some of the pictures I saw some really nice brisket and I told the waitress, this is what I want, and I pointed at the picture. Unfortunately she said that was only on the special concert nights. Apparently on the special concert nights they have a single dish available which I am told is usually excellent. Too bad we were not there at the right time. They have a really nice outdoor seating area which unfortunately was closed for renovation. Sorry to hear we missed again. But again the burgers were excellent

I met a friend for lunch. Neither of us had been to Gibson's before. Very confusing about which menu to order from. They quit taking breakfast orders at 1pm, but they're only open until 2pm??? Our server clearly didn't know what she was doing. We got paper cups of water, only to be served ice water in a Mason jar with ice by someone else moments later. There was a 'sandwich-style' sign outside of the front door, advertising live music - of which there was none, and it was obvious they had not had live music. For simplicity sake we both ordered the chicken (salad) sandwich which was tasty, but ordinary. We also ordered Mimosas - which were bitter and unpleasant. I know a lot about Steampunk, and love it, but didn't notice a single thing inside or out that would pass for Steampunk decor. I will not be going back.
