Came back to this gem to get some comfort Chinese food. We got to chatting with the chef this time who also gave us recommendations on what to order. We got the hot and sour soup, deep fried eggplants, honey crispy prawns, mixed veggies, and garlic fried chicken. Everything came out within minutes and SUPER tasty! We got enough food to last us 3 meals haha. The restaurant was quiet and inviting, just like the last time we went :) we will definitely be back!

I've driven past this place my whole life, and I regret that heavily now. This place is amazing! Really fast and kind service and employees. The food is fairly priced and delicious, and we had tons of leftovers because of the portion sizes. Definitely stop by this spot when you are heading up or down 88!

Food quality seems to have improved, and the young male cashier hasn't been there for my last few trips, so that is a positive. Food is consistent and pretty tasty. Orange chicken is too vinegary for my wife and I, but they have many other options to consider. Overall, it's fine for being our only Chinese food option upcountry.

Ordered takeout. It’s been awhile because to be honest the quality has been subpar for a long time. But this time I was amazed. not only did I think it was back to the level of when he was at the Buckhorn., which set a standard, that I compare every other restaurant to ,but I think it’s surpassed it. Best Chinese I’ve had anywhere in the longest time. So thank you and I hope you keep going. I will continue to keep coming back. This community needs you, and we’re blessed to have you. The new restaurants that are opening up are falling short. But we need to support local.

we ordered the orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and pork chow meinwhile the chow mein was nothing too mind blowing, it served as a nice base; the orange chicken had a pleasant but not overpowering spice and the honey walnut shrimp was crispy and delightfuli was worried about the quality of american chinese food outside the city but was very happy with our experiencethe dining area is very standard, nothing to write home about but fairly peaceful and noninvasivewe'll be back again soon!

An old restaurant in Amador county. Folks in that area like it. We lived in that area 5 years plus. The quality of food was not great. They have sweet & sour sauce on all of their tables? Much to my surprise that was a very popular feature. As everyone eating there used the sauce on the Chinese food.
